I get off of my bed and head to the kitchen were I see Diego rummaging through a silverware drawer.
"Hey, Diego, when did you and Aulita get together?" I ask
"About 3 days ago. Why?" He responds.
I shrug my shoulders and head back to the guestroom. I get on and update my location to Jamestown, Santa Monica. I fall into my pillow and cry. Why the hell am I stuck in such a shitty ass situation. I pull out a picture of Cory and begin to cry again. I miss him so fucking much.

I wipe the tears off my face and begin to unpack. Crying isn't going to change anything, so what's the point? In less than 30 minutes the dresser is full and I've got my own sheets on the bed.
I lay down and before I know it I'm fast asleep.
....
"Wake up ding dong." I hear someone say. I roll over to see Diego standing over me. I look at the clock. 6:30.
I get up and push Diego out so I can change. I finally slip on a hoodie and grab my backpack that I filled just before I left and hop into the front seat.
"Sorry man, that's Aulitas seat." Diego informs me. I hop into the back and we drive an unfirmiliar route. Then I realize we're picking up Aulita. Duh.
When we arrive I see how much exactly Aulita has changed. Instead of a small, freckled face she is sporting a nice tan. She is tall and muscular, wearing little makeup yet she looks very pretty.
"Hey Kory." She says smiling.
"Hey, what's up?" I answer.
"Nothing, really. Are you OK with everything that's happened and all? You seem a bit sad." Aulita says.
"I think I'll be OK for now. Just gotta keep trying, right?" I murmur.
"It'll be OK. We're here for you." I nod and lean my head against the back of the seat.
By the time we get to the school I can feel a small pit eating my stomach. I don't want to go here, with all of the people who used to be my friends. Most of them have probably changed for the worse.
We hop out of the truck as I see Nova.
"Oh my fucking Lord. Kory?" She asks. I nod and she barrels towards me, hugging me half to death.
"Nova... Can't. Breath" I manage to get out.
Her grip loosens as she says, "Sorry, I just missed you so much and I haven't seen you in, like, 10 million years,"
"Yes, most definitely 10 million years." I joke.
The bell rings and I go to get my schedule. As I walk to first hour a guy runs into me.

"Oh, sorry." I murmur.
"Are you new? I don't recognise you." He says.
"Yeah, I'm Kory." I say.
"Bane. I gotta go. Bye." He says as he strolls away.
I watch as he walks away until I hear the second bell ring. Fuck! I'm late on my first day. I wander to my first hour as I think about Bane, the mysterious guy from the halls.
