sudden dreams (part 1)

I wake up back to a sunny day which is quite rare it makes my mood a bit brighter. the dream forgotten for a moment i remember that i won't see father for quite some time. I'll try my best to stay positive it's not like he's going away forever "Kal come down for breakfast before I have to leave" my father called from downstairs "I'm coming" I get out of bed and walk over to my closet and take off my nightgown and grab a wool dress and put on my boots that are less thick than my regular boots. Since it's so sunny I think it will be warmer than usual so there won't be as much a need to bundle up to much after I change I go downstairs and head to kitchen and see sin with plates forks and cups in his hands and papa bringing food to the table.

I go to help sin with setting the table there was only two plates so I guess papa isn't eating with us. We set the table and the food is placed on the table when papa starts to hug me and sin "I love you both very much and I will see you when I get back and I'll be sure to bring back some of your grandmas chocolate cake for you" I nod and hug him one more time before he leaves. He gets in his wagon then pats Lilly's bottom and he's on his way. As I watched him leave I felt more lonely then I thought I would.

"Don't worry kal he'll be back before you know it I promise but in the mean time why don't we do something" I nod sins right I shouldn't be so sad and have some fun "come on I know the perfect place but you have to get a change of clothes first" he leads me in the house and hands me a thick coat with a bag then tells me to find the only summer dress I have. I head to my room with no questions and get my summer dress from a few years ago I think I can still fit it if not oh well. I put it in the pouch I head back down stairs to see sin in no coat with tine cotton pants and a long sleeve shirt. "How come I have to wear a coat and you don't" he smirks "I have gotten use to the cold and will not get sick you on the other hand little sister will get very sick as you are not use to the cold just yet" with that he pulls my coat on and buttons it up "so shall we go now" he answer for me before I can even say anything "good let's go".

He pulls me with him as we leave out the town and as we do I say hello to everyone that passes by us miss baker, the towns children and even the towns guards on patrol.

We leave the town and head towards the woods and I begin to get excited. What if it's some secret hideout for all the outlaws or a baby wolf he had found or a fairy that would be the best thing to ever happen to me. Even if fairy's may not be real it's nice to believe and what if there was one he was going to show me. I began to think about the possibility and get more excited before I knew it were at a clearing with the most beautiful waterfall with flower everywhere even on the sides of the waterfall entangled in the rocks. This was so amazing the last time I saw flowers it was the last spring we had a few years ago. its been so long that I almost forgot what they look like up until now. "I was going to show you on your birthday but you looked like you needed the cheer up" I turn to sin as tears fall down my face and I hug him as best I can with as much love I could.

This is nicest thing he has done for me and who wouldn't cry when their brother has done something so nice for them. "Don't cry kal it's just some flowers and a waterfall" even thought I can't see his face I can hear how smug he's really being "thank you so much and how did you even find this place...it's...this is magic" I let him go and kneel down to touch a flower not wanting to pick it or harm it In anyway. "I really don't know we were In the woods and I found it". I look at him "so you were running from some guards from the capital in the woods and found it" Sin scratch's the back of his neck with a nod. I'm not slow I know that he wouldn't just be in the woods for no reason. "and who is we" sin ignores me and walks away.

I sit for a bit in the meadow of flowers and sin try's to climb the waterfall. I just close my eyes and listen I can hear birds not to close but close enough for me to hear them and the wind blowing. My peace is then distributed by water hitting my face I open my eyes to see sin in the water with no shirt or shoes. "Are you out of your mind do you know how cold it is well not that cold but it's not even water playing temperature" he shrugs and gets out the water. "Do you know how warm it is that is why I asked you to bring a second dress and because I was going to do this" I look at him suspiciously "do what" he grins and steps towards me and i run he quickly catches up with me and lifts me up and heads back to the waterfall I flailed and yelled at him to put me down and he just laughs at me. "Please sin I'll do your chores for the week just don't do it" he stops for a moment

"you do them anyway and this is more fun" and with that he throws me In the water. I yelp as soon as I touch the water. I swim back up to see sin laughing at me I'm glad I took my coat off or it would have been wet along with me. The water is actually warm which is a surprise to me why is it that it's so much warmer here anyway I'll have to ask sin.

I decided to swim a bit since it was so warm and sin had joined so we played until the sun began to set. then sin helped me out the water and he went behind some trees to Change. also to let me have my privacy to change myself I go behind a tall thick bush I see. In the middle of my changing I heard the some bushes move thinking it's a rabbit or something I think nothing of it until I heard a whistle. I pull the clothes in my hands over my chest and also cover my area down below. "Well what do we have here" I see two men coming out of the bushes they are both wearing armor I see on the Breast plate that they have the royal emblem on the left bottom corner so their Royale guards but the lowest of them. Depending on where the emblem is placed is how you can tell their place in the castle and these men were just foot men.

I look over to where sin had went and I hope he is still there or hears them. I feel if I try to run they will chase me or if I scream they way they will try to attack me. "Cat got your tongue what is a pretty girl like you doing here anyway" I don't answer but I do move back a few steps as I see he has got closer to me while I was thinking. "I think He asked you a question missy" the man next to him asked in a harsh tone I just glare at the men I'm not scared of them really hurting me I know how to protect myself but I just don't want to be at a disadvantage due to me being half naked at the moment and its two against one. "I don't think she wants to answer you two or be bothered by you fools so I suggest that you leave" I sigh out of relief when I hear sin I can feel him put my coat on my shoulders "I'm sorry it took me so long to pay attention to what was happening get behind me and change quickly ok" he whispers so that I can hear him but the men can't and I nod and do as he says. "So your with this lady here boy" the first man asked "why should that matter even if she wasn't I still wouldn't let you near her what type of man walks in on a half naked lady that's quite rude did your mama never teach you manners when you were young" I'm finished dressing when sin is down talking but I still stand behind him but I hold onto the back of his shirt not wanting him to go anywhere.

"Hey don't worry I got you ok" he says to me still faceing the two men I make a face at him acting like he's the big time hero "oh please if I wasn't half naked I would have taken them on" sin laughs "sure". Just then the second man taps the first mans shoulder and whispered something in his ear that makes him smile then turn back to us "it seems that I have to go but don't worry we will see each other soon see ya pretty" he waves and they walk back into the woods out of sight and sin turns around and hugs me really tightly "I'm so so sorry I left you I had saw something thinking it was a person but then I also left you alone for those men and I'm so sorry I will never ever leave you like that I don't know what I would have done if they hurt you in anyway" I hug him back but soon pat his back to let go I can't really breath right now the way he's hugging me.

He lets go and I take a deep breath in just to be dramatic and he rolled his eyes at me and I smile back at him "thank you for that but I'm very tired at the moment and would like to go home and bathe of you don't mind" he nods his head and we head back to the village.
