The Winter Ball (a Disney Descendants fan fiction)

Chapter 8

The Winter Ball was now three days away.

Mal was excited, she was leaving to work on the mural in Elsa's castle.

It was 7 in the morning, Mal was still asleep and Evie was up organizing all her designs for the ball. Mal and Evie were leaving at 9 to arrive in Arendelle by noon.

Evie finished packing and decided to go down and get breakfast before they leave. She turned around and saw Mal, still sound asleep.

"Ugh, seriously?!" Evie says frustrated, then a smirk grew on her face. She grabbed her phone and texted Jay and Carlos.

After a few minutes, Jay and Carlos busted through the door. Mal was still asleep.

"Mal! Mal! Mal! Mal! Mal!" Jay and Carlos yelled.

Mal didn't wake.

They tried shaking her.

That didn't work.

They were getting frustrated.

Evie grabbed her phone once again and texted Ben.

After like 5 seconds Ben came into the room.

"What's going on?" Ben asks as he looks at the three VKs.

Evie points at Mal, then the time.

The click said 8:20, and they were leaving a 9:00.

Ben smirked, he had an idea.

"MAL! HELP! MALEFICENT HAS ESCAPED!" Ben yelled.

Mal jolted awake.

"WHAT?!" Mal screamed frantically.

The VKs burst out laughing, Ben just chuckles as his purple angel finally awake from slumber. Mal just gives them a glare.

She then looked at the clock and got mad, "Evie! Why didn't you wake me up!"

"I tried, so I got Jay and Carlos, they couldn't wake you either, so I got Ben." Evie said simply.

Mal looks at Ben giving him the look that says, 'Can I use my magic? Please!'

Ben sighed and nodded.

Mal jumped up, snapped her fingers and she was all fresh and pressed, new clothes and her hair was all clean and brushed. Mal sighs with a smile. She glanced at the clock, so she mumbles something and then all the clothing and supplies she needs levitates towards the ceiling, the VKs and Ben watch above as Mal's things fly into her bags and they then are gently placed on her now made bed.

Her friends just stare at her.

"What? Are we going go now... or not? Because we have like 5 minutes." Mal says looking at her friends and then gesturing to the purple clock with the glowing green digital numbers saying it's 8:55.

Evie looks at the clock, her eyes widen.

"Let's go!" Evie says as she rushes to get her bags. Mal grabs her backpack, opens it, and snaps her fingers. Her bags shrink and fly right into her bag.

"Taking the easy way out are you?" Jay smirks.

"Eh... well, gotta go! Bye!" Mal says, gives Ben a quick kiss on the cheek and runs out to meet the limo by the Beast Statue.

The boys laugh.

Evie struggles to keep up with Mal, Mal snaps her fingers once again.

Evie bags shrink and go into her purse.

"Thanks!" Evie says as she and Mal finally get outside.

The limo is there, waiting with a driver.

The two girls hop in the limo and the start their way to Arendelle.

A small tv in the corner in the back had a message on it. Mal clicked on it, and a picture of Elsa popped up.

"Hello girls, how are you?"

"We are good thank you. How's the ballroom looking." Evie replies anxiously.

Elsa laughs a bit, "It's coming together, but with your help I'm sure it will look fantastic."

Evie squeals.

"Well, I must be off, but I can't wait for your arrival."

"Bye Elsa!" Evie says.

"Bye girls!" Elsa says then logs off.

Mal was sketching a portrait of the four VKs with the words Rotten to the Core under them.

4 hours later.

The limo pulled up to the castle...

The girls got out and was met with Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Jack, Olaf, and Sven.
