A young couple slept soundly. The sun shone through the window onto a dark skin young man. His dreads sprawled out on his pillow exposing his neck to the harsh summer sun. He shifted his body closer to the form beside him to get away from the sun. This cause the larger male next to him to groan and wrap his arms around the darker skinned male.  They settled back to sleep comfortable in their current position. The night before had really tired them both out. Daimon the darker skinned male had been emotional and upset when Markus, the hulking blond, had arrived last night. No Markus had not really caught much of the story last night. He was here simply to take the younger male to bed, but everyone likes to cuddle. Daimon on the other hand really need someone to talk to last night about what happened. When Markus had calmed him, the lug immediately initiated sex. Daimon was far to emotionally exhausted to refuse and it proved to be the perfect distraction. The two lay wrapped in each other very satisfied, when a ringing disturb their peace.
After a few minutes blond lug sat up quickly nearly throwing Daimon from the bed as he untangled from Daimon. "What is that annoying ringing?" He deep voice boomed. Daimon ,after recovering from being toss awake, sat up on the edge of the bed and shuffled through his discarded clothing in search of the source of the noise he knew all to well. Once he found it he stood from the bed and headed to the bathroom. " It is a cell phone man calm down. Thanks for last night but you should go." Daimon said as he walked into the bathroom stopping at the door to turn and give the blond a final look. He walked in and close the door behind as he hit the answer button.

" Hello Mother." He said as he checked his reflection in the mirror to make sure Markus hadn't left any visible hickies. " Where did you go last night? The way you left here wasn't right. We brought her here to help you." Daimon frowned at her words and rolled his eyes. " When are you guys gonna understand? I will not be marrying some girl so that I can take over the Host. I told you over two years ago that I don't like girls." He spoke angrily as he moved to sit on the toilet. He could hear her sigh on the line. He knew she was shaking her head. She would do it all the time when he was younger. " Look, we love you honey, but the Host is not as forgiving. If you don't marry soon the High Shadow Council may get involved. That will only cause you more problems." She pleaded with her son. Her voice was sincere and pained, but Daimon was unfazed.

" This isn't love Mom. If I have to go before the council, then so be it. I have been through enough because of them. I will plead my case or just leave the Host all together. The world has changed since these guidelines were implemented. I have a good job and make good money. I can take care of myself. I am a police chief for Mother's sake. Look, I have to go I will be by there later. I have to get to work.......Mom I love you both please just understand." He said hanging up the phone. He let out a sigh of relief. He showered and put on a nice dress shirt and a pair of slacks. As he was tying his dreads up to keep them out of his icy blue eyes he heard several cars skid into the parking lot outside.
"What is going on outside?"

Gabriel and Sethel POV
Earlier before Daimon arrived at the Sinners Stop Motel

A white Mustang car sped down the Highway bobbing and weaving in between cars. " Slow down or we are gonna get pulled over Seth." Gabriel stated to his best friends since he was born.  He stared at his friend as he focused on the road. Seth was a demon or an Inccubus to be formal. His medium length black hair and brown eyes seemed to clash with his flawless pale skin. He was handsome to all who laid eyes on him. Gabe, short for Gabriel, always thought he was the better looking of the two. He was blond with shoulder length hair he kept up in a ponytail expect for a few hairs that refused and arch along his for head. He was 6' 1" and pure lean muscle with a medium frame while Seth was more lanky with a small amount of pudge. Gabe was a pure blood werewolf, which is why he was much bigger than Seth. Turning his head to look out the window Gabe thought about how he got this point again.

He had been on the run from his pack for a few months now. He and his other best friend Parker had committed a taboo before their Culling. In accordance to his packs law he had to die. When his father found out that night he went into a rage. Gabe tried to talk his father down, but his very scent seem to drive his father mad. Ever since his pack and father have been after him finding him at all his hiding spots. Barely he escaped each time with his life with Seth's help. Gabe even went to the point of building a tolerance to wolfsbane, in order to throw them off his scent. They always found him. He was tired of running and he hadn't been able to reach Parker. It worried him what could have happened.

He felt the car slowing as they turned into a nice Motel. Seth parked in the back where his car couldn't been seen from the road. Gabe didn't make a move to get out of the car. They both sat in silence. Gabe looked over at his friend who's hand were covered in blood. They had to fight their way through 10 fledgling Betas. They weren't as strong a Blooded wolves but this is what they were made for, to fight and die so True wolves didn't have to get their hands dirty. He and Seth hadn't killed them but they had to injure them enough so they would stop fighting.

Seth noticed Gabe taking in the scene of his blood hands and said with a shrug as he exited the car." Gabe we only did what had to be done. You know you wolves are resilient. They will be back up on their feet in no time, maybe. If they aren't killed by the High Betas. If they are it really isn't our fault now is it?"

" Is that really suppose to cheer me up? Thanks bro you are so great." Gabe's voice was soaked with sarcasm as he exited the car and followed his demonic friend as he walked up to the hotel. It looked like who ever the owner was kept the place up really nice. The sign read: Sinner's Stop. " Is this one of your Mom's businesses?" Gabe said with a chuckle as they approached a room door. Seth looked over his shoulder his eye glowing a bright blue. " It is actually I had to pull a few strings to get this room behind her back. So I wouldn't make jokes if I were you." He growled as he pulled out a key and opened the door. As soon the door opened Gab was hit by the heavy scent of wolfsbane. It caused him to stumble back away from the room. He took in a deep breath letting it rush through him. He regained his composure his hazel eye flash a deep green at Seth. " I see you made the arrangements! You could give a guy some warning." He stepped through the threshold of the and took in his surroundings. It wasn't like your standard motel room. The purple color scheme of the walls and furniture seem to flow with one another. The style was new age. The chairs where shaped funny and the light fixtures just odd. The first room is a kitchen slash living area. Then the connecting room was the bedroom with two queen size beds. He quickly found what he was looking for a door adjacent to the bed which led to the bathroom. He moves two step towards it in time with Seth. The two locked eyes. The age only race for the bathroom had begun. Gabe pushed his friend towards a chair so he would trip and sprinted for the bathroom. Just as he was about to breach it's threshold the door slammed shut in his face.
"Ha bitch did you forget I can blink? Don't worry I won't take long."
Gabe glared angrily at the door. Shaking his head he turned away from the door taking in the room once more. He walked over to his duffel bag which had been discarded by the entrance to the room. This bag contained everything material he cared about. It could only hold so much: A small selection of his favorite clothing, a picture of him and his family, the moonstone bracelet Parker made him when they were kids, a healthy supply of wolfsbane, and a disposable cell phone. The thought of the cellphone struck a nerve causing him to clench his fists. He knew for sure now that, she had told him where he was. His anger boiled over he lashed out and punched at the nearest wall. How could she do this? He loved her over all things. Tears began swelling in is eyes. Just as he felt the first tear about to fall the bathroom door opened. He quickly wiped his face and rushed passed his freshly showered friend. Seth knew his friend was hurting he just didn't know how to help.
