Routines and more routines.
Alana found herself sighing in exasperation at this turn of event as she watched her sweat fall to the ground. It was but a second of a break before she ran in the middle and continued her barrage of twists and turns.
When the coaches voice rung out, signalling another 15 minute break, Alana couldn't help but dramatically fall to the ground, crying out, "Ah, thank god!" With a slight laugh. Then, as usual, the others walk to her, laughing at her limp figure.
Alana brought out her signature smile. More people come to converse with her.
At last, she found her way to her bag, near the window and she couldn't help but breathe in relief, taking her white metallic bottle out of her bag and drinking in desperation, letting the cool liquid flow into her mouth.
By habit, she stares out the window. It's the girls soccer team and at this, Alana unconsciously smiled. She spots one of her friends, dribbling the ball teasingly with her opponent in front of her, provoking them before easily running past them with the ball.
Alana chuckled as the girl turned back with a smirk to the one she passed by. She kicked the ball with ease into the goal. "Yay, nice goal, Angel." Alana said to herself, still staring at the cheering figure.
As if she heard her cheer, Angel looked up at the windows, beaming up at Alana. She put up two fingers, as if telling her 'VICTORY'. Alana laughed silently, giving back a thumbs up. The two fingers then changed position and showed two finger hearts shooting at Alana. It was so hard for Alana to push back the creeping blush on her neck.
But it soon disappeared, replaced with cold envy when another male came and wrapped his arms around Angel's arms, giving the girl a kiss. It almost looked like they were having a deal together. Alana clenched her jaw in jealousy when they kiss again and Angel traces his jawline. Angel laughed at her boyfriend and pinched his torso which made him loosen his grip on the girl.
Alana let go of the breath she never knew she had been holding.
"Hey Alana, getchyo ass over here. One more and then freedom." Someone said, Alana turned around to see the cheeky figure, Kevin, staring back at her. He grinned and wrapped his arm around Alana comfortably. Alana smiled at this energetic boy who gave her the brightest smile she'd ever seen.
"Aye aye, captain." Alana answered putting her bottle down then walking to the rest of the welcoming group.
Kevin is the ace, the pride and joy of the dance club as well as the leader. Alana is amazed by his ability to dance, it was all perfect. He might not have been the hottest of the club, but Alana can admit one thing, he's pretty hot when he dances.
Playfully, Kevin does a clumsy ballerina twirl till he loses ground and at least tries to stay steady. The whole group laughs at this and Kevin laughs in embarrassment.
"Positions!" The coach calls out, despite having been laughing just seconds ago because of Kevin. The group enters into their positions.
The music starts.

The music ends with a powerful pose. Alana keeps her breathing steady for a few seconds before retreating into a more comfortable position. The others had left minutes ago and it was only Alana here.
She breathes out another sigh and looks out the window again.
And incredulous expression appeared on her face. The soccer practise had finished.
And that only meant one thing...
Without moving too much, Alana subtly stared behind her, looking for any sign of a shadow. It was there, and it was moving slowly and definitely closer towards her.
She counted.

"Rrraaa!" She shouted loudly, that it startled herself, but mostly startled the intruder. "Ahh!" She shouted cutely. Angel stood there, in her sport shirt, stared at Alana with a frightened expression which turned into a shocked expression, taking a step backward, almost falling.
Alana reacted quick though, taking a fast step forward and thrusting her arms around Angel's waist to hold her, then holding on to the wall to keep steady. Angel still had her shocked expression which then turned into a disappointed expression. Alana laughed.
"How did you do that?" Angel complained, scrunching her nose up. Alana's heart skipped a beat. Alana gave a teasing smile, "Well I mean, you were kind of obvious, with that panting." She laughed. Lies, I almost got scared this time. She internally said, her internal person looking extremely scared.
Angel covered her mouth, clearly conscious of that fact, "Oh my god, seriously?" She asked, her eyes wide. Alana's own eyes widened at that, not expecting that kind of response, "No, not at all. You almost got me." She blurts.
Angel's features relaxed into a breathtaking smile.
Alana couldn't fight that blush so it took over her features. Alana let out a groan at the fact that she's blushing so she forcefully takes off Angel's glasses. "Whoa, what was that for!?" Angel asks loudly, it was a fairly obvious fact that without her glasses, her world gets blurry.
"Hey, hey give them back?" Angel asks, her hands roaming wherever just to try and get her glasses back. Alana only kept quiet, her face completely red. Sooner than later, Angel calmed down and stopped making a ruckus.
"Ok-ay? what's up, Alana?" Angel asked, her eyes displaying the amount of worry she has for the older girl. Alana, still red, looked away from the cute girl. "Nothing much."
"You're just so beautiful."
Alana let out another groan at that. Me and my stupid mouth. She internally scolded herself.
But she spared a glance at the younger girl. There it was again, that breathtaking smile. Her breath got caught in her throat and now all she could hear in her ears was her pounding heart.
Angel giggled at Alana's response, "Okay~", she sang happily, showing a heart with her hands, "You're pretty too~!" She answered, smiling so widely.
Then it was silence for a while.
"...So... Can I have my glasses back?" Angel asked. "Glasses... glasses. Oh right, glasses!" Alana answered with small smile, she brings the glasses to her.
"Why is your face red? Are you sick or something?" Angel asked the moment she gets her glasses on. Alana's eyes widened for a fraction of a second before she looked away again. Yeah, love sick. "I was trying to laugh but I held it in. My punishment." She said lamely.
Angel's expression changes to a smile again. Alana's heart skips a beat once more.
As Angel starts talking about another subject, Alana couldn't help but linger on her words again.
My punishment.
As expected, my punishment for falling in love with someone of the same sex is being tormented by her.
Alana wished she could cry in that moment.
