After I wandered about on the second floor I wanted to take a look on the top floor where Lady Annabelle's office was.After exploring the second floor I could tell there was no stairs to the top floor,well at least not now.There was stairs at one time but they fell down because of old age.I then heard a noise up above me I looked up and I spotted a crack in the the top floor.It was big enough for Lucas to squeeze in but not me so I unzipped me backpack and I brought out the crowbar I packed then I started slashing at the top floor and made the crack big enough to squeeze through.I went over to a bookshelf and I picked up a couple of books and I stacked them on top of each other then I climbed on top of the stacked books and I pulled myself up to the top floor.I thought the reading room was the darkest but now its actually the top floor.This time I needed to to use my torch.I grabbed my torch from my backpack and turned it on.The first thing I saw was the office desk it was covered in thick dust and it looked like it hadn't been touched for hundreds of years.I continued to search the room for Lucas but it was obvious he wasn't here.I sighed and slumped down will I ever find him? I thought.Suddenly the air all around me turned ice cold.I sat up with fear as I felt the cold air close in on me I heard whispering the only words I could pick up was Adam beware,it loves the taste of blood "who does"I cried
the demon.........
"What"I screamed now I was absolutely petrified I had to get out of here.I ran up to the crack in the floor and down the stairs to the entrance of the Hawthorn Library.I ran up to the door and I tried to pull it open but it wouldn't budge.I looked down and I found out that the door knob was missing I need to use the crowbar I quickly thought.On my back if felt for my backpack "crap! I left it on the top floor"I said to myself now I was in a state of severe panic I rushed to the reading room and I again hid under the collapsed bookshelf.I curled up at the very back of the bookshelf and started crying "I will never get out of here"I cried "I will end up like Lucas"I then started to think that Lucas was actually dead.
