Levy's POV

It's been half of a year since I started sneaking out to see my outlaw friends. Every so often I'd bring my hand maiden Lucy or Juvia and they seem to be getting along with everyone: especially Natsu and Gray. I'm not going to spoil anything until they sort out their feelings for each other.

Today I'm going on my own and today feels strange. There are less guards around that should be blocking off the gates. As soon as I sneak out the castle I feel that someone is following me.

SNAP!

A twig snaps behind me and I run in the opposite direction to their camp to throw them off course. The footsteps behind me pick up their pace and tackle me to the ground. A hand is clamped over my mouth and my arms are pulled behind my back.

"Maid Levy you will show us to where Gajeel and his outlaws are! If you truly care about your life?" A voice whispered in my ear and I shook my head.

No way was I going to reveal their hiding spot. After a few months they trusted me with their location and I was impressed when I walked through it with my eyes actually open for once.

"I wish you were loyal to me Levy. But soon you'll be my wife and that's loyal enough." I started to shiver because my captor was Jet. "Guess we'll have to do this the hard way after all."

He loosens his grip and I bite his hand causing him to let go of me.

"You bitch!" He winced and chased me again. I knew more soldiers would be following but I couldn't lead him to them. Not on my dead body. What am I to do? I sprint to the main road and there's a carriage with the royal flags waving. This is way worse than I imagined.

"Got YOU!" A voice yelled behind me and hit me round the back of the head with a sword. I'm sorry Gajeel.

Gajeel's POV

"Royal carriage approaching." Erza whispered pointing it out.

"This seems to strange. Wasn't Levy meant to meet us a while ago?" Gray brought up the question and I grew worried.

"Gajeel." Natsu's voice wavered as he pointed out the bluenette that we were speaking about.

"I'm going to kill him!" I punched a nearby tree from the horrid sight. Levy's hands were bound behind her back and she was gagged with a dirty cloth. A trickle of blood dripped down the side of her face. She was squashed between the two drivers and she was crying.

"We have to save her!" Gray whispered and we ran out.

"Looks like our bloody Levy did the trick!" Jet sat comfortably on the roof of the carriage and played with Levy's hair. "I've always loved this blue hair." He pulled it roughly and more tears poured down her face. She whimpered loudly.

"LEAVE HER ALONE!" I boomed, unsheathing my sword.

"I will. Just surrender yourself and she won't get hurt." He pulled her up to him holding a dagger to her neck. "I wouldn't like to see my bride with cuts now."

With a sudden surge of strength Levy kicked him and rolled herself into the floor.

"Levy are you okay?" Erza rushed to her side, taking away the gag and cutting off her ropes.

"You need to get out of here there are more guards on their way. It's a trap!" She wiped her tears and gave us a weak smile. "Go while you still can."

"We're not leaving without you." I helped her to her feet and we managed a few steps before more guards arrived just like she said.

"Go without me!" She urged but we stood our ground.

"I told you not to harm the Maiden!" José appeared out the carriage. "You don't want a bloody bride do you?"

More guards appeared and we were doomed; there was no way we'd come out of this alive. A fight broke out and we fought with everything we had but it wasn't enough. From exhaustion we collapsed swords held to our necks. Cages on the back of carriages were being driven to us and we were forced to our feet.

"Thank you Levy for giving us our band of outlaws. As a reward you get to see them hanged right before your wedding." José leered as he pulled her away kicking and screaming.

"NO LET GO OF ME! GAJEEL I'M SO SORRY! I'LL GET YOU OUT I PROMISE!" Tears fell down her face as she continued to struggle. "I LOVE YOU GAJEEL!"

Those words set my heart aflame. I loved her too. Guards were dragging us away and I began to fight.

"I LOVE YOU TOO LEVY! I PROMISE WE'LL SAVE YOU BEFORE YOU MARRIED OFF TO THE SLIME! I LOVE YOU TOO!"

Levy was pushed into the carriage and me and my friends were tied up and squashed .
