Contemplation

It's in moments like this sitting in a quiet room surrounded by my peers doing absolutely nothing, that I contemplate life. I think about when my life is going and where it has been. I think of those around and realize just how little I know them but how we are all quick to judge. Knowing little to none about the one sitting next to us, sharing a daily hi or an evening goodbye. What do we even know? I question my schooling and why we do the things we do. I contemplate outfits for upcoming events. The noise in my head so loud to me but dead to each passer by unaware of the commotion inside.  I ask myself what have I done and what can I do?  Who am I and who are you? I question my authority and I question their being. I question the inconveniences, the up and the downs. I contemplate modern society with a frown. It’s in this room with my peers all around I scream the questions not out loud. My mind it races as the class draws to an end. That is when I contemplate life around the bend.
