The bright minds wither and the dark ones shine in this world of horror and shame
No light shone through
The darkness thrives
All of the light begins to die
Darkness overcomes
Light blocked out
The screams unheard
The light gone from their eyes
And this sadly is not a surprise
Beyond help their spirits crushed
Gone with the wind
Motivation dead and never coming back
Darkness has won.
