Chapter 3

Draco's Pov

Ever since I met Haridan in Madame Malkins I haven't been able to focus. Father bought me an ice cream once we finished shopping before he started talking with a coworker. My mind drifted too the cute shy boy I met while getting fitted for robes. ‘The way he carried himself and didn’t react too my surname it seemed like he was a mudblood. But the power that came from him and the way he spoke too father made him seem like a pureblood.’ I'm pulled out of my thoughts by a soft little moan from beside me. I look over and see the boy from my thoughts front of me sucking on the spoon from my ice cream. I smile internally at how cute and innocent he looks. “You act like you’ve never had ice cream before” I tell him smirking slightly. I almost miss the pained look that flashes in his eyes. Almost. “and why did you take my ice cream?” I say in a jokingly harsh tone too try and get him to smile. But it does the opposite of that. He cowers in front of me even though he's a good foot taller than me. He whimpers slightly like a wounded puppy and it breaks my heart. He then starts apologising furiously like I'll hit him. As intrigued as I am as to why he acts like this Harry's breathing was that of someone who ran a marathon while in labor. (totally wrong if you couldn't tell) Unconsciously I slowly walk up to him an envelope him in a hug. I place his head into the crook of my neck like it was back at the robe shop. At this his breathing starts to even out. He seems to be calm so I take a step back too ask what was wrong when his beautiful icy blue eyes flash gold and he just disappears. Worriedly I turn too father too find him staring at me like I’d grown another head. “Dad what was up with him?” I asked slightly afraid of the answer. “It looked like he had a panic attack then just, gone.”

Harry's Pov

As I was cowering back I felt like I couldn't breath. Every time I tried to get air in my lungs I got less and less. Afraid Draco was suffocating me my panic spiked causing even less air to reach my lungs. Just as I was about to fall to the ground two strong arms wrapped around me. I was enveloped with the scent of, forest, nutmeg, and chocolate. This scent allowed me to breath. I take deep breaths revealing in both the scent and the ability to fill my lungs with air. My mind clears and I'm able to think more clearly.

(*this will be one of the other side's speaking in harry's head*)

One who are you? Two no he deserves someone better than me and three we are in a public place it would most likely be seen as assault and I for one don't want to be in jail.

He's Jaden your vampire side just like I'm your veela. As for your second statement, we were literally made for him. As for the third as a creature with a mate we abide by different rules.

There's a long list so I'll tell you later. For now I would run seeing as Jaden is trying to take over and claim him. And because he was blocked for so long you don't have control over him.

So being the reasonable and completely sane person I am I took the advice of the little voice in my head and ran like hell. But apparently my vampire was at the surface so next thing I new and I was at kings cross.

I'm gonna find an ally then let you out Eridan. Please get us back to our ‘room’ please. We are getting what little things then coming back so I can finish shopping.

We do just that. We are back in my cupboard after just a few seconds. I gather the egg I found, and the blankets it's in and cradle them tighter around said egg. I found it at a park one of the few times I was aloud out of the house and I have no clue what it is. Very carefully I wrap it in all of my new robes to avoid any damage to it I can. I pace it back into my trunk and leave the cupboard under the stairs, after hiding my wings of coarse.

“Uncle Vernon, Aunt Petunia?”

“What did you do this time freak?” He spits back.

“I'm leaving. I realize I am a burden so I'm leaving and not coming back. You can finally have that bottle of scotch you were saving for when I was finally gone.”

I turn without waiting for a reply. Once in the hall I grab my trunk and let my wings out disappearing too the steps of Gringotts. I luckily don't appear right on the steps. In the alley off to the side I pull in my wings repairing my shirt. I leave the rest of the strings loose and tighten my hold on Jaden not entirely trusting the new presence in my mind.

~H-hey umm Harriden can I um talk to you for a sec?~

Demon fox side right?

~y-yes~

Sure what do you need?

~Due to me and Jaden awakening you are going to need a special diet. This consisting mainly of freshly caught raw animals. I can help you there so you don't end up hunting humans at your school. Um is that ok?~

Yeah that's fine. What's your name?

~Jager. It means to chase or hunt fitting for who I represent in you~

After talking with the voices in my head. Yep not freakish at all. I went into Gringotts. I went up too the same goblin that helped me before and bowed again. “Ah Mr Riddle I didn't expect you back so soon.” The said when he saw me.

“Yes, well, there are two issues I was hoping you could help me with. One I need to contact at least one if not both my parents if possible and two I need help finding the wand maker to buy my wand.” I tell the goblin in front of me. He looks at me for a moment then replies,” We can ask your mother to come here and then he can take you to get your wand. How does that sound?” “Very good thank you for helping me so much.” “It is a small thing. I will have someone fire call him now.”

*We get to meet da?!?*

Hey I think I heard something. Go check on the egg

“Is it ok if I wait in the corner over there?” “Oh yes of course, I shall send your mother and possibly father over there when they get here.” “ok thanks”

I go over too the corner of the bank. It's fairly secluded but I'm still able to watch people there. It's also in a shadow which calms Both Jayden and Jagger. I sit with my back against the left wall an situate my trunk in front of me. I wait a few minutes so anyone that took notice of me on my way over here has lost interest in me and won't take notice if the egg is hatching. I wait a few moments and as I'm about to open the trunk and check on the egg I feel like someones watching me. I stop and lean back against the wall waiting. Waiting for the feeling too pass or mother too come get me.

Jaden why did you want me too mark Dray before?

*We were surrounded by people and some of them felt threatening. It's a Vampires instinct to protect their loved ones from any and all danger. Whether that is real or imaginary.*

Oh ok I guess that makes sense. We aren't being watched any more so I'm gonna check on the egg

I slowly open my trunk and fish out the bundle of robes and blankets. I pull it out of the trunk and into my lap making sure the trunk hides it. Slowly I unravel the robes and placing them back in my trunk. I continue this until I'm left with only the egg, which is almost split in half with the crack that formed.
