TOMBSTONE (SMALL TOWN)
REYKJAVIK, ICELANDIt’s was in the year 1666, on a very dark and cold winter’s night a wind from the top of the hill which lies behind Tombstone blew through the town of Tombstone which the town’s people thought as being very strange and unusual.
The reason they thought it was strange is because of how hot the wind on their skin on such a cold night. The heat that travelled with this unceasing wind caused some of the younger residents to imagine it coming from a very large fire place at the top of the hill and they really had a good laugh from it when they came back to reality but although some joked about it the elders of the town took it rather seriously because many of them knelt by their bedsides where they made apprehensive prayers for the bad times ahead.
Many even came to the conclusion that this strange, hot wind was not something to give thanks for it was rather something everyone within the town should fear because it blew from a very evil place called the Cemetery Hill, a place where evil men and women who in the past were involved in Witchcraft and Satanic cults were burnt and buried.
One hundred years has passed since The Great Cleansing but many still had a feeling that someday these servant of darkness will rise again and lay waste to their town.
Meanwhile as the younger folks enjoyed their selves in this ongoing, heated wind outside and as the elders stood guard at the windows whispering their prayers unto God on the inside something really strange started to happen on Cemetery Hill which laid barren ever since the slaughter and burial of the Servants of Darkness. The earth started to shake slightly until cracks started to fill an area at the hill top and after a couple minutes it all caved in to reveal a large hole. No one within the town heard when the earth caved at the top of Cemetery hill because they were either praying or joking around with that night.
After the dust from the caving in cleared up something strange happened once again. Out of the large hole crept a large amount of skeletons all of which were forming piece by piece as they crept up to the top of their grave.
“At last we have risen my children, at last.” The skeleton that was first to be formed said to his comrades. “We will avenge ourselves tonight on the families of those who placed us in this hole and has condemned our souls to hell before our time.” He said while pointing on the town below after which all the twenty skeletons laughed so loud and so evilly that everyone within Tombstone desisted from what they were doing and stood where they were, wondering and fearing whoever or whatever that had made such an evil laugh and why did it came from the direction of the hill no one knew.
The laugh turned the younger folks outside into pale, sweating statues while it only made the elderly into prayer warriors who again knelt to their knees where they cried out to their creator. While they stood or knelt in fear either inside or outside their houses the awaken servants of darkness make their way down the hill in their gray, almost human skeletal forms waiting anxiously for the bloodshed they will cause on this dark winter’s night. By the time everyone within the town came back to their senses it was already too late for them because the creatures of darkness had already started to attack.
Many of the town’s people couldn’t even run or scream before they were eaten by these creatures, others could not even close their eyes in order to pray because their eyes were plucked out making their final sight of the world being the face of a hungry and bloodthirsty skeleton but although they were killed in many different ways that night in 1666 one thing was quite certain after the great slaughter and the certainty is that the only thing that was left in the town was just dead bodies.
Many of the town’s people were either left half eaten or with their eyes and hearts missing. No one knew of what transpired that night except the Servants of Darkness who now lives among us with new flesh from which they gathered from eating so many of the towns people but why are they still here. Are they trying to live a normal life or are they awaiting the instructions from their Lord of Darkness to plunge this world into everlasting darkness no one knows
