Margrete left the mall at peace with herself a little. She made it back to the group home. There was a build in day care center inside so she knew her kids were alright. They wanted them out doing productive things like job searching and school searching. So that's she would do. So now she would do what she had to do then go an see Lyles to end her day out. Margrete walks to the room she shared with another young girl name Yvette. She was 14 only one year younger then Margrete. "Hey girl, you ready for group?" She asked getting her note pad ready. Margrete had completely forgot about the group she was in, It was a Theraputic group for Runaways. Margrete quickly got her notebook, following behind Yvette. They both walked down the hall making it to the class room all the other girls were gathering around in their chairs with their notebooks as well. Margrete and Yvette followed them. The therapist came out and sat in front of them opening her notebook. "Hi, how is everybody today." Ms. Carletta say looking around at the girls. Some spoke, some didn't. Alright, Today were going to talk about the who, what, when, were and how. We all have our own stories and reasons to the things that happens in our life. Sometimes in order to heal we have to go back and confront that situation. Some times we have to confront them head on and another way is to talk about it. So who wants to talk about it? Ms. Carletta look around at the unenthuised girls. Every one was nervous and some just wasn't quit ready yet to be open. We all have each other here. "No one is here to judge you." she reassured the girls. Yvette raised her hand. Ms.Carlette turned her attention toward her. Go ahead. Yvette took a breath and began to speak. Who I was running away from was My uncle. What he did to me, Was horrible. I know i was only 5 but I understood what he was doing was wrong. "What did he do to you?" Ms.Carlette asked. He, Molested me He touched me, Licked me and sometimes he would take it out and rub it against me down there and masterbate until he came. I told my mom, but she didn't believe me or she didn't want to believe me. she didn't want the family to fall apart so she kept it under wraps for a long time. He left for the army for Four years and came back when I was 9. It started again, This Time he wasn't Just rubbing it against me down there he was trying to put it all the way in. It hurt so bad but he held my mouth close so I wouldn't make any noise. Aftrewards I was Bloody and could hardly walk. He made me take a bath in get cleaned up before My mom would wake up and when she woke up asked why he was in the bathroom while I was washing. He told her, he had to use it real bad and couldn't hold it. She believed him. He left back out for deployment, he was gone on and off for about four years then he was injured and got to come home for good. He lost a arm. when I was 13 My mom allowed him to stay with us permenantly. I couldn't deal with that, so I ran, I ran and I didn't look back. Now I'm here Just trying to get myself togather. Go to school and hopefully muster up the courage to file charges against him and If it means I lose some family so be it. Hopefully the family I dont lose could take me in. Yvette looked down at her knees. Margrete could tell she was torn up about her situation.
