*Sophia' P.O.V:*
"Sophia!" Came the familiar shout of my mothers voice piercing through my dreamlike state. I groaned loudly and inaudibly. I heard footsteps coming up the stairs and prepared myself for what was to come. "Sophia!"
"What?!" I groaned back burying my head under the warm blankets.
"I just got a call from the principal of Ridgewood High. Is it true that the student body presidents want you to leave Forest Glenn? When were you going to let me know?" My mother fired away sitting on the edge of my bed. I took a deep breath and slowly uncovered my face.
"They came to the school yesterday. I wasn't going to transfer. But now I kind of want to." I whispered sleepily.
"Does this have anything to do with that hot guy you went out with yesterday?" My mom asked arching her brow at me. "Who is he?"
"He's Cristiano Bianchi. Vice president of the student government at Ridgewood High. As well as my potential love interest." I revealed to her as I sat myself up against my headboard. "Mom he's so sweet and he has so much going for him. He's intimidating but alluring."
"Aww. My baby's growing up so fast!" She gushed clapping her hands excitedly. "Did you kiss him?!"
I bit my lip and nodded excitedly. "I was rambling and he kissed me to shut me up. But the peck was followed by a real lip lock. I was so scared I'd be bad at it. But the way he went about it was so smooth and exciting." I informed her. Yes, my mother is weird. But she's my best friend, we can talk about anything.
"Seeing as you said exciting. Let me just say, if ever you feel like you want to take this to the next level and lose your virginity to him. Be certain. I didn't wait for your daddy and I regretted it so much. I know this was your first real kiss. But the reality of life is, you never know what's gonna happen. If you have any questions ask me. If you ever fall pregnant. Tell me. I won't be mad at you Sophia. You're eighteen now. You're an adult and I know we raised a intelligent young woman. I'm here for you always. Okay?" My mom told me seriously, pushing hair out of my face. Her eyes were getting glassy as she stared at me. Which in turn had my eyes watering.
"What if he breaks my heart mom?" I asked softly. "Or if this is just another sick joke people put him up to."
"If he hurts you. I will personally make him disappear baby. Don't worry. On Monday or Tuesday your father and I will withdrawal you." She promised me with a wave of her hand. The woman's crazy but if you know my mother then you know never to underestimate her or hurt one of her kids. We're not liable for whatever occurs when you cross one of her lines.
"I have a date with him at four." I informed her as I looked at the clock on my bedside table. 8:27 a.m. Is what the numbers read. "Mom its too early." I yawned loudly. She laughed and nodded in understanding.
"Go back to bed. My boss needed me to come in and cover someone for a few hours. I'll leave your brunch in the fridge so you can eat when you get up." My mom told me as she retreated from my sanctuary. I once again covered my head blocking out the light soaking up the room and let sleep once again consume me.
I groaned as my eyes twitched and popped open only to be blinded by sunlight flooding through my window.
My phone was buzzing on the bedside table and I answered blindly. "Yellow?"
