Angel's POV

Geez this is annoying; I know I used to be a criminal but still. The officer finishes pattin’ me down to make sure I ain't got no weapons. I walk through the double-doors that lead to the visiting area; there he is. He's wearing a white tank top with the top of his prison jumpsuit tied ‘round his waist, with the stupid ass manbun still in his hair. He has tattoos on his arms now though; they look nice. Really nice. I sit at the table he's at,

“Hey Diablo,” as I say this he looks up at me.

“Hey, babe, it's nice to see you after two years,” he says sarcastically.

“Look I'm sorry that I ain't visited you since you got locked up, but I had to get outta the gang biz. I got a real job and got us a house for when you get out. It took a hell of a long time too.” I tell him as I hold his hand. He looks kinda happy about the fact that he's got somewhere to go after he gets out. I then say,

“I also got your time reduced to three years in prison and two years of parole, so it's your last year here.”

“How'd you manage that?” he asks.

“You know I got connections,” I say with a smug grin on my face. He grabs my hand and brings my knuckles to his lips, kissing them softly.

“Una vez que salgo de aquí, eres todo mío.”(once I get outta here, you're all mine.) He says in a low voice that melts my heart.

“Giusto a ya,”(right back at ya) I say while giving him a bright smile. It's been awhile since I last smiled; it's a nice feeling. I know it's gonna be hard for him to get outta the drug life, but I'll be there for him; this time I won't let him go so easily. Let's just hope he stays faithful. I'll be his all, his drive, his ride-or-die. If anything, I'll be his addiction.
