While going for college, Swayam found Kriya standing on the road with a frown on her face.

"Hey Kriya, why are you standing like that? Don't wanna go to college or what?" -he asked puzzled.

"Look na Swayam, my rikshaw broke down now will I do?" -she whined.

"Oh don't fear when Swayam Shekhawat is here, I have my ride na." -he offered.

She stared at the vehicle as if it was the world biggest threat for her.

"Your cycle?!" -she asked surprised.

"Yeah?" -he replied carelessly.

"Na baba, I wanna leave my life a bit longer." -she replied with a tense look.

"What?" -he asked with a laugh.

"Means if by mistake your Sharon sees me with you on your cycle's backseat then I will be turned into ashes without any warning." -she joked.

"What rubbish yaar, come on settle yourself else we both will miss our lectures." -he told her.

As Swayam & Kriya arrived to college on his cycle, it didn't go unnoticed by Rey who was at the front gate himself.

Kriya bed adieu to Swayam & rushed inside the college while he was parking his cycle when Rey went to him.

"Why did she came on your cycle today?" -he demanded.

"Arre, she needed lift & I was passing by there so I picked her up. But why are you worrying?" -quizzed Swayam.

"Me? Why will I worry & that to for that Baat— Ugh! Stop playing mind games with me Swayam." -Rey warned

Swayam gave a crooked smile & gave an eye-to-eye look.

"Mind games & me? Not me but you are playing games, hearty games & that to with yourself. Come on dude, she's my best friend & you are being that much insecure as if she's something to you." -mocked Swayam.

"Obviously she does, she my—" -Rey stopped in the mid sentence realizing he was about to spill out his feeling.

"She's your? Go on. Hmmm... first stop listening to your brain for once & listen to your heart for good." -he suggested.

"No no. Already I had done a big mistake by listening to this stupid heart but now no more buddy." -Rey announced.

As soon Rey left Swayam had let out a sigh & shook his head staring at the sky.

"Oh god! Either he's gone mad or he will make lose my mental state." -he complained.

The Louins were at the class, the professor hadn't arrive yet so all were relax for the time being. Swayam & Kriya were sitting adjacent to each other when Swayam took a small bag & gave it to Kriya.

"What's that Swayam?" -she asked impressed.

"A token of friendship for the best friend in the world." -he replied with a wink.

She gave him a curious smile & took out the object out of the bag.

"Aww, such a cute teddy bear. Thank you so much Swayam." -she appreciated.

"Please Kriya, your insulting our friendship by thanking me." -he pouted.

"OK fine but seriously your a darling." -she said.

That had a side hug while two people were burning due to their closeness.

"Actually Kriya, it's also to apologize for my behavior of the day before Rose Day. I shouldn't have talked rudely with you that day, for that I'm really very sorry." -he said sincerely.

"Now who's breaking the friendship rule? I won't forgive you now." -she threatened.

"OK OK I won't ask for forgiveness anymore but please accept this gift." -he requested.

"Your wish is my command." -she did a salute.

Both shared a hearty laugh while Rey kept on glaring at them during the entire conversation & crumple the paper of his note book. That didn't went unnoticed by Swayam who gave a wicked smirk.

"The pot has cracked, now it needs a hammer to break." -whispered Swayam.

At late night, someone in dark clothes climbed from the window & entered a room. That person walked over to a bed where a girl was peacefully sleeping.

He bend down on his knees & stared the girl for hours, during her sleep few strands of hair were bothering her so he gently pinned them behind her ear. And kept watching her intently while she slept without any worries & a small smile crept on her lips (Iss Pal in bg). 

Hours later, the sun razed alerting the guy. But before leaving he left a piece of paper on her night table & caressed her cheek.

"Good morning baatcutter." -he whispered meekly.

At 7 am, Kriya woke with a big yawn & slowly she opened her eyes. She started to scan her room but her eyes landed on a giant creature in front of her bed. Her eyes widened only to realize that it was an oversize teddy bear.

"Where did this thing came from & who moreover brought that?" -she asked herself being astound.

She re-scanned her room & spotted the note left on her bedside table. She walked over to it, picked the letter & started to read it.

I may not know how to express myself, be it showing my care, love, hate or apology but I want to ask forgiveness for whatever happened b/w us till date. Be it fights, arguments or misunderstandings, cause I know only one thing, that you'll be always near me. And yeah, I climbed through your window pipe to gift you this. Hope you accept this with a smile.

She was touched just by the mere words written with innocence which took her to a trance & she kept thinking about the moments she spend with Rey unsure if it was send by him.

She gave a small laugh & hugged the giant bear giving it a peck.

"Whoever it was, he sure is crazy." -she thought.

So Every Time You Cuddled It,
You Cuddled Me Instead.
