Chapter 1: The Beginning

• Pacifica P.O.V. •

(At the shack)

It was another day at the Mystery Shack when suddenly- "WAKEY WAKEY LITTLE BRATS! TIME TO GET TO WORK!" bud ruined my day.

"ugh. FIVE MORE MINUTES BUD! I can't believe he's always like this" I grunted while I rubbed my face into the pillow

"yeah bud, I can't get up!" exclaimed gideon tiredly

"BUT IT'S ALREADY 6:00 IN MORNING! PACIFICA, YOU STILL HAVE A SHIFT THIS 7:00 REMEMBER?! OH AND GIDEON! YOU STILL HAVE A MESS TO CLEAN UP!! bud shouted angrily

"yes-sir." gideon and I said in unison

I stood up lazily and went to the bathroom to take a shower and after that I went downstairs to eat breakfast

I took some pancakes with bacon and went to the table to take my seat and eat.

"mmmm. Finally, another delicious breakfast" Moaned gideon softly while sniffing his breakfast

"well I guess you're right gids" I giggled

"oh! hey paz-paz, good morning"

"hey gids, morning to you too"

"okey dokey, let's eat already, gideon here is already hungry!" he sung

"eat if you want to gids, just - don't be gross" I said while pinching my nose

"Am I that gross paz?"

"just eat already gids"

I was finally having my peace and quiet when stupid little gideon interrupted it

"hey paz..?"

"(-_-) what." I groaned silently

"I forgot to tell you that bud said you had to help me find bud's brown wallet. He told me he thinks he lost it at the woods because that was the last place he knew he was before loosing it" he said with a mouthful of pancakes

"Wow! I didn't know you can still talk properly with a mouthful of pancakes without stutteri-W-what!???..... I-But I thought my shift will start at 7:00?"

"when you were still busy in the shower he told me to find his wallet, and he told me to bring you too."

"but my SHIFT starts at 7:00! And-and I need to work! And I'm busy today...."

"relax paz-"

"GIDEON!!! ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO ME?" I shouted furiously as I glared at stupid gideon

"Um, yeah. And I told you to relax"

"How can I relax? I still have a shift this morning, remember??!"

"oh! sorry I forgot to tell you something. Uncle bud actually told me that your shift will start later at 1:00 p.m. and will end at 2:00.

I suddenly calmed down after hearing that and said "oh. Okay."

"so. You're coming with me. Right paz?"

"yeah of course, but wait. Why didn't you tell that to me at the first place?!"
