Work was an absolute drag. No clients called and I sat in my office on my MacBook trying to think of a new dress design but nothing is coming to mind. I rubbed my temples and let out a long and tired sigh.
"Just 2 more hours" I mumbled to myself. I can leave her at 9 and it's 7:05 right now. I turned my phone off and shoved it in my purse under my desk to try and get some work done.
I literally watched click tick and tick and tick. It's like time is slowing down each second just making me miserable. I rolled my eyes at the stupid clock on the wall and opened my laptop back up. I played with a few designs and put them together.
After what only seemed like 15 minutes I looked back at the clock it's now 11:53.
Oh shit! I hadn't realized I was that into the zone. I shut my computer and pulled it off my desk and grabbed my phone and purse.
On my way out of the door I locked it and began turning my phone on. Once I was at my car I sat my laptop and purse on the passenger side and turned my car on.

"Jesus Christ Hadley where have you been!" The boys yelled as I walked into the house. I bit my bottom lip and sighed.
"I'm sorry I got caught up at work and didn't realize the time had passed so quickly" I explained to them. "You better call Logan he's been calling us all for the past 2 hours" Corbin warned me as they all left to their room.
I slipped into shorts and a hoodie and pulled my phone up to my ear a so called Logan. He answered literally on the second ring.
"What the hell Hadley? Where have you been?" He asked frantically.
"I'm so sorry I got caught up at work and turned my phone off" I told him. He sighed against the phone.
"I thought you fucking died" he mumbled. I frowned and sat on my bed.
"I'm sorry" I said. He sighed again.
"It's okay just let me know when your turning your phone off so I don't assume" he told me. I nodded even thought he couldn't see me.
"I promise"
"Goodnight Hadley"
"Night Logan"
