"Maria!" Shade cried. He embraced her in a warm wing wrap.
"Who are you...?" Marina asked, pushing him away.
"Oh... Right... You forget."Shade said with a sinking look. "Mom, how did you get me to remember?"
Ariel smiled. "I reminded you what you loved."
Shade looked to Marina. "It's me, Shade. Your mate. Remember Griffin? Our son? And Tree Haven? Please tell me you didn't forget when we met on the island!"
Marina had a blank expression on her face, but it became a familiar smile.
"Shade!" She cried and hugged him.
"And now we just need Griffin and Luna." Cassiel said with a grin.
