The Birthday- J-Hope

"Baby, come on!"

You and Hobi were at a balloon festival and you arrived early so you could get a good space and not end up being squashed to living hell but Hoseok was being so slow

"Coming!" he shouted back but was obviously lying

He was really tired because just the day before he was at an intense dance practice and didn't get home until 2 am but he still wanted to go out with you since it's his birthday

"HOBI! Hurry up!" you shout seeing that he's all the way at the bottom of the hill "Or else you don't get to eat any of these sausages I cooked earlier"

"COMING!"

Hoseok hurried up and when he reached where you were you smiled at him, took a sausage out the bag and gave it to him

"Good boy"

You laid a blanket down and sat on it with Hobi on your lap. You decided you'd allow him to sleep until the actual festival started.

While he wa snoozing the place started to get busy and to be honest you could hardly move

1-2 hours later

"Hobi! Wake up" you said lightly patting his face

He murmured in his sleep but only turned around and carried on sleeping. You knew he could hear you but just didn't want to listen

"If you don't wake up I'm going to leave you for Namjoon" you said slyly

Instantly he shot up and gave you a cute smile

"That's better. If I left you for Namjoon I'd miss that smile so much" you said taking his hand in yours "Anyways, before the thing properly starts do you want to go play some games?"

He nodded obviously excited and he shot up taking your hand and walking off to God knows where. It was abit hard to walk around so Hoseok kept you closely to his chest so you wouldn't lose eachother. He looked around for any stalls that looked fun to play when he saw 'the one'

"OOH LET'S PLAY THIS ONE"

Hobi shouted in your ear but then he noticed your wincing and apologised

It was a 'if you knock down the 5 stacked cups then you can win a prize!' type of game

You had lots of experience in those games and knew that no matter what you could never win. EVER

"No, let's do something else" you said trying to be nice

"NOO, I want to do this one" he whined

He showed you some cute aegyo and you couldn't resist

"Fine, but I'm warning you now" you said "there's a 10/10 chance that you won't win because these games are rigged. Also not to mention but it's expensive af"

He shrugged you off not listening to your wise words but you warned him………… you warned him

Hoseok paid £10 (which is $14) for 3 goes.…………….. 3 GOES!!

He gave the money to the man and he was given 3 baseballs. Hobi hit the tower every single time but it didn't knock down once.

Obviously something shady was going on

"Can I have another 3 goes please?" He whined to you

"No, do you really want to spend your money on a phony ass game?"

He nodded

"Honesty what am I going to do with you. Your going to end up broke one day but don't come running to me when your living on the streets begging for some McDonald's" you said lightly

He ignored your speech and paid another £10 and was given another 3 baseballs.

Again he hit the tower every go but it didn't knock down. Now you'd had enough so you stared shouting at the man that run the stall

"HEY! Give us one of those prizes because my boyfriend hit it every single time!" you shouted

"But your precious boyfriend didn't knock it down" He said getting all up in your face

"You know what…………" you went into the booth and tried to knock the thing down with your foot but then saw that it was all glued togther so it was impossible for it to fall.

"Your a phony ass bitch" you shout at the guy "And I'll be taking one of these"

You picked up one of the teddy bears (which were prizes) and started running while the guy was shouting behind you and Hobi standing there because he saw too awestruck to move

"HOSEOK! RUN YOU ASS" you shouted looking back and finally he was snapped out his trance and ran after you

Hoseok and you ran quite a distance before stopping at a reasonable distance from the stall

"Y/N! Why'd you steal that?" He asked you panting out of breath when you'd finally stopped

"I didn't steal it. You paid £20 for a game you never won because it was cheating so you deserve it" you said and gave him the teddy

"Oh well thank you I guess" he said smiling

The two of you walked around the festival looking at different things (not buying anything because you're not going down thag route again) when someone on the mic started talking

"HELLO EVERYBODY, YOU HAVING A FUN TIME?!" he shouted over all the noise

The crowd shouted YEAH but there'd always be that one annoying bitch that'd say NO        
You had done a special something for Hoseok seeing as it's his birthday but you didn't tell him until the end

For the rest of the time you and him listened to the music and talked to people when soon the festival was coming to an end and people started to pack up when the MC started calling out

"DON'T LEAVE YET EVERYONE! WE'VE GOT FIREWORKS!!" he shouted and people flocked back in like a herd of sheep

This was the surprise.

You had paid alot and when I saw alot I mean ALOT of money to make a little firework sequence for Hobi

All different blues and reds and yellows blew up in the sky and Hobi's favourite song was playing in the background when a big firework with letters came up saying:

I LOVE YOU HOSEOK!!

And then went back down. He looked at you and when the last firework went off he kissed you like there was no tomorrow
