I woke up in the dark, which was normal, but I definitely wasn't at home. I wasn't even inside. I got up and started to walk home. Not many people were out since it was so early, but the ones that were looked at me with worried and slightly scared expressions. I must look awful. I probably got wasted last night. That would definitely explain why my head is pounding.

I arrived at my house and went to unlock the door, but I couldn't find my key. Great, now I had to get the locks changed. Who knows who could have picked my key up? I unlocked the door with the spare key and relocked it when I went inside. I quietly walk to my wife's and my bedroom and slipped into bed carefully, as not to wake her up. I fell back asleep quickly.

I woke up and nearly screamed when I saw my husband in our bed. How did he get here? I ran from my room and quickly dialed 911.

"911 what's your emergency?" The woman on the line said.

"My husband is in our bed." I said as calmly as I could manage.

"And why is that an emergency?" She ask, obviously annoying.

"My husband was shot in the head and killed six weeks ago."
