Π Ana's POV Π

I woke up feeling the light of the sun on my face. I yawn as I stretch my arms.

Well today's another day.

Heh, mom always used to say that when she wakes me up.

Mom..

I really miss you mom, I know your not proud of me, seeing me steal just to survive. But I have no other choice.

I decided to get, well, I mean steal some breakfast for today.

I fixed my clothes and wore my boots. Removing my ponytail, I stretched my body, and do some splits before going out.

Pulling up my hood, I walked out my house which was already abandoned.

I blend in the crowed as I walk towards the market.

I stopped by a small store and studied them. Hmm, maybe I'll go for an apple today or- "What can I get for you Sir?"

I looked into the merchants eyes and noticed that I haven't seen him before. Maybe he's new? I step back and observed his store.

Huh, I haven't seen this one as well.

As I looked back at him, I saw him gulp and a sweat that has formed on his forehead.

I tilted my head to the side, "You okay mister?" I asked.

He just smiled, fake smiled and laughed, well that one was fake too.

"Yeah, just business here that's all." He said nervously.

Something isn't right at all..

I grabbed the apple, eyeing it. From the corner of my eye, I see him holding up a gun and before I knew it, a unfamiliar sound burns my ears.

I covered my ears, then realized what was going on. I looked around me and saw people who were wearing familiar uniforms chasing me.

I quickly ran for my life. I looked back again, they're six of them.

This won't take too long.

I stopped in my tracks and put my hands up.

"Freeze, this is the Survey Corps and we are here to take you."

Survey Corps eh? Hmm, this must have to do something with the blonde.

I turned around to see one holding a gun and the others blades.

"Ha, haha! You got me." I walked closer to the guy who was holding a gun, I stopped centimeters away from the gun.

I smirked at his terrified face.

I quickly turned and kicked him in the face, leaving him landing in the floor unconscious.

I turn back to the others and shrugged "Anyone else?"

All of them stepped forward readying there blades at me.

"Well, as they say. A coward would only fight an unarmed man." They all looked at me confusingly.

With a blink of an eye, I dashed towards the guy that was in the middle and kicked him right in the face.

I grabbed his blades and aimed them at my next opponent. A girl eh? That should be easy.

I slashed my swords at her but she blocked it, I could then hear foots steps behind me. I turn and see a guy running towards me, I stepped on his bending knees and shoulders making me do a back flip while I kick their faces hard.

3 down and 3 to go.

I then run towards a guy slightly trembling in fear, I grabbed his shoulders, did a front flip and flipped him over.

I faced my next attack and he almost sliced my neck, luckily I bend backwards and kicked his leg.

I was about to turn around when strong arms were gripping my neck.

"Got you now!"

Pfft, got me?

I elbow his stomach which I earned from him is a groan.

I grabbed his head and kicked him with my knees.

"That's for surprising me with all your show."

I then quickly escaped before anything else happens to me but I was lifted high in the air.

Shock, I struggled at the guy's arms, "Let. Me, go!" I shouted.

"Fine then."

Stupid, he actually let me go.

Right before my eyes flashed my good memories before I fall.

I closed my eyes ready for the black out, but nothing came.

Am I in Heaven now or something?

I peeked one eye open to see I'm hanging upside down, I looked up to see a guy holding my ankle. Then I looked back down to see, to my expectancy, the one and only blonde who I saw yesterday.

I furrowed my eyebrows, "You! You planned all this?"

He didn't answer my question, he just observed me.

"Hmm, looks like the he, is actually a she." I gasps.

My hair, my hood must've remove itself.

Damn it hood.

I groaned covering my face. I try moving my ankle in different movements but failed.

I give up and decided to ask, "What do you want old man?" I crossed my arms.

"I'm Erwin by the way,"

He kneeled down at my level "I want you to join the Survey Corps."

I gave him a wtf look, "That's it?! You set this up just to ask that?!"

"Well, knowing asking you would end up saying a no of course." He point out.

I rubbed my chin "Hmm, yeah good point."

"So would you like to join?"

"Why me?" I eyed him.

"Your fighting skills can fit in fighting titans. We could use a new recruit like you." I thought about that.

"Thanks, but no. I'm not interested in fighting creepy titans."

"If you don't fight with us, I'm afraid we'll be putting you behind bars." My eyes widened.

Without hesitating, I reached forward the guys hands that was holding me in placed and climbed up at him.

"Stop pushing yourself." He pushes his arms making me hang upside down.

"Ugh. I'm still not agreeing." I groaned.

"We're not yet finished, we'll be talking more in my office, but in the mean time, Levi, handcuff and keep an eye at her. She's very skilled like you."

So he's name is Levi eh? Though it sounds very familiar.

"Tch. She can't even escape me. She's nothing but a weakling."

Anger boiling inside me, I uses all my strength to grab his hands and pull us down.

I got into my fighting position and he just stands there, looking, bored?

I ran towards him and aimed my fist at his nose, but he grabbed it and flipped me over.

Wow. He's not what I expected to be.

I dashed again, which ended us up at the floor with me on top. I tried punching his face but he dodge it yet again.

Unexpectedly, he flipped us over, turned my back and handcuffed me.

He sure is fast.

"Your wasting my time." He said. I just sat there as he drags me along.

That was supposed to be my line, well if I had defeated him.

I stared at him. Why all of the sudden he looks so very familiar?
