Her garden was in bloom, it was full of so much wonder
But something in her heart began to stray, and her mind began to ponder

The flowers were so bright, so much beauty was around
Although she stayed there often, in her soul no peace was found

Amongst all the beauty, a darkness began to seed
And in that hopeful garden, was growing a sinister weed

It grew so fast and hungry, devouring everything in sight
She screamed out in desperation, she looked up, searching for light

She was blinded by the darkness, a dread then filled her heart
But somewhere in the distance, the clouds began to part

There was a roar from up above, and the black retreated from fear
Light then filled the garden, as her eyes began to tear

Despite the desolation, she no longer felt the doom
Because growing through the ashes, was the brightest ever bloom

With joy in her soul, and a heart full of love
She sat beside the flower, a gracious gift from up above

It grew into a garden, bigger and brighter than ever shown
And she lived there no longer doubting, because she knew that she was home
