"Hey, Omega" Jasper, our alpha had said in barley a whisper. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, I'm the omega wolf. I don't get harassed or anything like that too often because everyone knows that Luke, being the Beta of our pack, is my older brother. I responded with "Hi Alpha." I took this chance to ask the question I've always wondered but could never get close enough to him to ask. "May I ask you something?" I asked. "Sure" he looked at me with big, curious eyes. "Why isn't there a female alpha in our pack?" I took the shot cautiously, almost stuttering over my words. There was silence. I deeply regretted asking him. He gave me a smile when he noticed my regret and answered, "I'm just not sure if I've found the right girl to stand with me and not take the power she'll get for granted." "Oh...that makes sense." I said, trying to act understanding. As I was trying to eat, Aaron kept annoying me with questions like "You're the omega?" "Why haven't I seen anyone pick on you or anything?" I ignored him and let Luke answer his questions for me.
I walk out of my last class. 'Bout time. Kona attacks me with a hug. "Wah!" That's the thing that comes out of my mouth? "Kona! Are you trying to kill me?!" "Hehe...sorry, Kenai-Senpai!" "Senpai? Where's that coming from?" "I was told that everyone at our table is trying new things, and we assign things for each other. I got calling others Japanese Honorifics." "Ahh. Well, while you were doing that, the alpha sat in front of me at lunch and it was awkward to say the least." "Oh boy." She moved her short dirty blond hair to the other side.
I finished my homework a little bit ago and now the boredom is killing me like a virus. I get out of my bed and walk downstairs to get a snack. When I enter the living room, I see Aaron sitting on the couch next to Luke, watching the TV. He looks over at me and winks then looks back at whatever they were watching. I walk into the kitchen and grab an apple out of the fridge then walk back to my room. Today was interesting. I wonder how tomorrow will be...
