I awaken to the familiar beeping of my alarm clock. Its Monday morning and time to go back to school. I do my normal routine; eat, brush my teeth and hair then get dressed. Our school uniforms are red, black and silver. Red sports coats, black pollo shirts, skirts and pants with s hover tie and handkerchief in the breast pocket. "Hurry Janet your going to be late!" Calls my mother. I slip on my black leather heels, grab my bag and leave. I get on the bus to the normal sea of school uniforms. My best friend Stacey waves me over to our usual spot at the back of the bus. Next to her twin brother Jason. Jason and Stacey have the same color hair and skin but that is about it, they are polar opposites. Jason plays varsity football and has the IQ of a doorknob but Stacey is very intelligent. They both have brown hair and tanned skin from the California sun. Stacey has blue eyes and Jason has brown. When we arrive at school I feel a stinging pain in my left forearm, I dash off to the girls bathroom. "Jan where are you going?" Yells Jason in confusion. "Bathroom." I answer back. My head starts to pound when I enter the bathroom, luckily I am alone.
I pull up my shirt sleeve and look at the cuts on my arm. They still burn. My eyes travel to the mirror, my reflection is not my own. Nameless, Kami black hair, black eyes with rubies for irises and pale, sallow skin.
