Not now, not at school! I whine internally. 'I won't hurt anyone, you should put on your glasses though someone is coming.' She hisses as she fades from the mirror. I quickly put on my aviators to cover my eyes and pull my hair to the sides if my face. "Hey Janet are you alright? You look pale." Stacey walks up to me and lays a hand on my shoulder. I realize a little too late that my cuts are showing. Stacey gasps, dismayed. "Oh Janet why? What will self harm solve?" She takes my left hand in hers. "You-you don't understand Stace. Its not what it looks like! I'm not suicidal!" I say urgently Nameless' hiss sounds in my head. 'She's reaching for your glasses. Back away!' Stacey reaches out for my sunglasses and almost grabs them off my face. "Jan I need to tell somebody, this is not good and you know it. Please take off your sunglasses and look me in the eyes." Stacey begs. "No don't you dare tell anybody! I-I..." my words are interrupted by a gasp of pain.
No! I shout in my head. 'Yes!' She hisses. I crumple to my knees as my head starts to pound like someone is hammering in my skull. My skin feels like its on fire. My fingers sprout claws and a fresh kind of pain, burning, cramping, and bones snapping all at once. My voice deepens. I stand up and take off my glasses, "don't tell!" Nameless says through my mouth. I shudder as the reversal of the possession happens. It all comes rushing back at double the force as it was before. My eyes return to their normal color, my hair shortens and regains volume. Though my face is paler than normal from fear my skin goes back to normal. The claws retract leaving my hands burning. Gasping for breath I pull I'll my jacket sleeve to reveal the under side of my wrist where the veins are. I stare at my arm as I watch her scratch the word 'MINE' into my arm.
