Chapter 3 - School

When we arrived at the school, which looked quite new because it had green grass not dead horrible brown grass. We all got out of the car, grabbed our stuff and Cat, Sky, Tammy, Gemma, Kayla, Amy and I headed to the High School block.

Jenny and Katy went to the primary school and Ann was taken by the nanny to the land of the munch kittens (preschool).

There were alot of kids and half of them spoke this strange language called  'Afrikaans', I'm guessing its only for South Africa because I've never heard of it, My second language is French, not 'Afrikaans'. I can't do that 'r' thing were you roll it, It tickles my tounge. They all have this horrible accent when they try to speak english, they should rather speak afrikaans. I'm going to refuse to speak that language.

As we walked into the high school people stared at me like weirdo's, I know I'm sexy but staring is kinda creepy and it's not attractive. I think I might have a good chance at this school.

"Hmm, John You're in 9E4 with Cat and Serena, Don't worry I'm sure they don't bite." The lasy behind the counter said.

What she said 'They don't bite' That doesn't make me very comfertable it's doing the opposite.

I walked with Cat and Sky to our 'Register class'.

"Of course we don't, pssh." Sky said wiggling her eyebrows to me. 

"Damnit Sky, don't give away our position." Cat said.

She opened her mouth

"Rawr." That's random. Sky is weird. 

"Rawr means I love you in dinosaur." Cat said pretending to be smart.

"No. Have you seen Jurrasic park? It means I'm gonna friken eat you." Sky said slowly and we all laughed.

We eventually reached our class, we were early and alot of people were here already. Our class was at the right back corner.

"Hey John do you know anyone here?" Sky asked curiously.

"Of course not ,He's from America.." Cat said face palming her face.

"Oh ya I forgot. Blonde moment sorry." Sky said blushing.

"It's OK." I said to Sky.

"Ok ,then I'm gonna introduce you to everyone ,since Cat and I are pretty popular and know everyone ,It won't be that hard." Sky said making it sound like being new isn't scary.

"Ok lets do this" I said with the least amount of enthusiam in my voice. I was so scared.

We walked over to a group of guys ,There were two short guys and three tall guys. 

"Hi Guys!" Sky said cheerfully and hugged them ,as did Cat. "So here's the new boy ,John he's 15 like all of us and will be in our class ,Yay!" Sky said that with enthusiasm and did dazzle hands at 'yay'.

"Sup John, I'm Peter," He held out his hand to do the 'cool' handshake and we did it. He had tanned skin ,dark brown hair and hazel eyes. He was quite tall.

"Hey, I'm Trevor." He did a formal hand shake ,he had a strong grip. He had Blonde curly hair, blue eyes and slightly tanned skin. He was the tallest of all of them.

"Hi, I'm Brad." He gave one of those bro hugs. He was medium height for a guy, Black hair with jel,  Green eyes and definatly uses Axe.                        

"Hey, So I'm Trenden and If you dare judge me for my height ,The munch kittens will be after you, You have been warned." He gave me a death stare and took his two fingers and pointed to his eyes then mine. I smiled at him. He was short, tanned,  brown eyes and dirty blonde hair.

"Sup mah bra ,I'm Hayden." He had a capie accent. It was so funny. He had afro hair, It looked boss, caramel skin and very dark brown /black eyes.

"Hey guys." I said. 

The school bell rang which meant it was time for school at 7:30 ,gosh so early. We walked to our register class and we were all told to read a book or do unfinished homework. I sat with the boys at the back of the classroom and Cat and Sky were both next to each other infront of us.

The bell came again signiling first period. We had History, Lovely, It's my best subject. We walked into the class and sat down ,once again but the teacher made me introduce myself ,how embarrising, 

"Hi, I'm John Smit, I'm from New york which is in America and I'm 15." I said. I held the back of the neck.

"Nice to meet you." She paused. "I'm Mrs Summerfield but everyone calls all the teachers Ma'am but don't you dare call me Mom, I'm not that old." The teacher Mrs Summerfield said. Everyone bursted out laughing.

We went to our first four lessons of the day and then had break ,I bought food from the tuckshop ,I sat with the Trenden, Hayden, Brad, Peter, Trevor, Cat and Sky. They were making vines.

Then I went back to classes for another four classes then school ended. We had to do sports and there was this sport called Rugby, it looked interesting but they didn't use helmets or shoulderpads. It looked dangerous and painful. 

"Hey John." Brad came walking up to me. "You gonna try out for Rugby?" He asked ,raising an eyebrow.

"Never heard of it. But I'm happy to learn." I said with enthusiasm.

"Ok cool." He said doing the handshake again. "Do you have your sports clothes here?" He asked. 

"Yes, but I need to first go with Cat to try on some school clothes." I said remembering that I had completly forgotten. I'm so happy I asked for here number.

I took out my iPhone 6 and texted her. 

"Hey Cat ,Where you?, We need to go to the clothing store. :) " I said.

"Oh my word. I completely forgot, lol, I will meet you at the tuckshop just have to change for swimming. :P "  She said.

"Ok cool. :D" I said.

I saw here come out the bathroom with her tracksuit and takkies on. 

"That took you a while.." I said a bit impatiently.

"Someones patient!, I'm a girl don't expect me to be fast..."

We got to the clothing shop, I tried on all my clothes, There were alot of clothes.

"Cat aren't you gonna be late for sports?" I said whilst taking a shirt off of myself.

"Hmm." She said her eyes fixed on the magazine. "Oh no ,I have two hours ,I have to wait for the primary school to finish which is at 3:00.

"Okay, well thanks for waiting with me." I said while trying the school costume on.

"Pleasure." She said still fixed on the magazine.

We bought the clothes and left. We started walking back to the tuckshop.

"So are you good at swimming?" I asked her curisously. 

"Yeah, I'm the state champ for my age group, I hold the record for freestyle/crawk and backstroke." She said proudly.

"Wow that's good." I said that with suprise.

We did sports, I was a natrual at Rugby but it's not really my thing and guess what it started raining and even better they made us play in it, My hair is gonna get messy. We were soaked and full of mud. I looked down to see Cat still swimming. We finished practice and everyone went for a shower with our clothes on. I was walking out of the bathrooms and  took off my shirt and tried to get the water out and Cat came around the corner heading towards the bathrooms.

"Oh Hey" 

"Hey, Did you only finish now?" I asked curiosly.

"Yeah, couch wants me to do well in the competition coming up." She said smiling ,blush was creeping us her face. 

"Ok well meet you in the mini bus." I said whilst grabbing my bag and jogging off to the bus.

"Ok." She said and dissappered into the bathroom.
