And there I was. Jay, my name, it came to me. I felt dehydrated, I must have been out for days. I sat up and hissed as I noticed how badly my eye stung. I looked around with my left eye, it being my good one.
I saw dead bodies, people who have died before me, in this horrible place. No. These were the servants who died in the killing game, they were down here with me....
I saw a male with silvery hair, I crawled my way over to him and looked at his face, this was one of my best friends... It was Joker... I nodded to myself and did my best not to cry. I reached my hands into his pockets and took out what he had.
A pack of mints, make that two, a pack of five or so daggers, a few hair bands.... the mints I could use to snack on, the daggers could help me kill anything, I suppose. I took the hair bands and put them on my wrist, I might need them for something later. I glanced at the walls and saw a broken mirror.
I managed to push myself up and look into the mirror, "I guess my long hair won't be doing me much, may as well cut it down..."
I took one of the daggers and cut about half of my hairs length, letting the sky blue hair fall onto the ground. I managed to cut it somewhat cleanly, and looked at myself again. There was a large scab over my eye, it was starting to scar.
"Whatever... let's open my eye and see how messed up it is," I said to myself, I forced my right eye open and looked into the mirror. I couldn't help but wonder how a sword could make it look like this.... Now, about half of my eye was black, with blue on the sides of it. Down the black was a zigzag of red, it looked cool. But, how did this happen from just Taiyo's sword....
That's it, it wasn't Taiyo's. The sword I was cut with was Excalibur, a magical sword. That, poor kid. He lost his master... He lost Klein because of me...
I felt my eyes sting with tears. I was begging myself not to cry. I needed water, and couldn't afford to lose any.
I looked around, on one of the corpses was a normal water flask. I took it from around the female's neck, and felt it's weight in my hand, it was water.
I opened it and poured it into my mouth. It burned, I spat the alcohol out, "Who the hell keeps alcohol in a water flask?!" I asked myself loudly. I searched other corpses and finally found a short-haired female with a flask, "I'm smelling this one."
I placed the open flask under my nose. The liquid was odorless. I placed the opening to my lips and drank the water quickly, downing it all.
I really was thirsty.I woke up to something falling into the dungeon. Food. I looked at the living pigs. Two of them, male and female. There were wrapped chunks of meat, that hopefully didn't need to be kept cold, a bunch of wood, a lighter, and oil for cooking fires. I got closer and noticed there was food for the animals, along with a pot.
I picked up the metal pot and looked down into it. There were certain metal sticks to hold it over a fire, and a pair of gloves, rubber ones.
I smiled at myself, "Thanks Aylin..." I whispered. I could've sworn I heard her sweet little voice ring out in a "you're welcome" but wasn't sure.I soon had one of the meat chunks cooked, it was a little burnt, but I didn't mind it. Most of the fat was cooked off, which helped. I took large bites of it, this wasn't pork like the living animals, this was beef. I looked at the wrap it was in and noticed that in girly handwriting, that's just what it said. Beef.
I picked up another wrap and it said fish, another said chicken. I smiled to myself at the variety I had. I looked at the pigs, noticing the female's big stomach. I'd have little baby piglets running around here soon.
I stood up and decided to search more. I gathered belongings from corpses and put them in my satchel, and eventually I found a doorway to any other room. I smiled and pushed the heavy door open. Something jumped at me and took the remaining beef from my hand. It wasn't anything dangerous.
This was a dog. I smiled at it and picked it up, it wasn't too big, and I'm sure it could help out with pesky things like snakes and mice. "Hey buddy, do you wanna live with me?"
The puppy barked in response and I chuckled, "what do you wanna be called? How about blue? Because of your eyes?" The dog shook its head, "I could give you a bird name like mine," the dog barked, "Ah? How about Eagle?" I asked it. The dog barked happily and I smiled, taking it back into the large room.
It was me, Eagle, a male pig, and a pregnant pig, all of us against the odds.
