"The fucks he?" Daryls low pissed off voice rumbles in your ear.

"That is Mike," You state, with a smile. "Mike Saturn."

"The fuck kind of name is Saturn?"

Mike raises his head to look at you. His eyes collide with yours and a massive smile crosses his lips. Daryl sees this causing anger to rushes through his veins. Immediately he wraps his arm around your waist, pulling you to his chest, placing a kiss to your temple. Judith giggles and reaches out to Daryl. She knew what was going on. Jealously had decided to rear its ugly head.

Mike assists the elderly woman across the room towards where the three of you are standing.

"Hello again, (f/n)." He then looks to the man with steam practically coming out his ears. He holds out his hand with a friendly smile on his face "Daryl isn't it?"

"Mmhmmm." Daryl grumbles tightening his hold on your waist and ignoring the request to shake his hand.

"This is Dorothy, AKA Dot." Mike tells you, lower his rejected hand. "My lovely grandma."

"Oh isn't she precious." The old woman says, looking at Judith. You adjust her in your arms so that she is facing the pair of Saturns. Judith reaches out to Dorothy and giggles again. "Hello sweetie," She then turns her attention to Daryl and youself. "You two must be so proud."

"She ain't ours." Daryl said bluntly "She's Ricks, her mom died."

Shock passes through both of their faces before they nod. "We're sorry to hear that." Mike says lowering his head.

"Daryl could you take Judith to Beth? I'm going to show them to their cell." He shoots you a look of disbelief before grabbing Judith and storming off.

"Is he okay?" Dot asks tilting her head in Daryl direction.

"He'll get over himself sooner or later."

"Have you had a bit of a domestic?" She asked

"I have yet to confront him about me being condemned to this prison, due to him being over protective."

"He isn't letting you leave?" Mike pipes up.

"Nope."

"Well, there must be a reason."

"He's over protective." You repeat

You wait with Dot while Mike collects their few possessions. They follow behind you as you lead the way to their cell. Mike allows you to enter first to sit Dot down on the bottom bunk.

"Such a sweet girl. . . " She mumbles and a smile spreads across your face.

"Thank you, " Says Mike. "for everything." He places the bags down and walks towards you.

He leans down and places a kiss on your cheek before walking to Dot. A bright red flush covers your cheeks like a rash and that's when you notice him. Daryls icy blue, hate filled, glare watching you form the entrance of the cell. He turns and marches away leaving you standing,

hopelessly, by yourself.

You run after him, dodging people as you go. You find him outside the guard tower, once again stabbing at the gravel with his knife.

"Why don't yer run along t' yer boyfriend!" He shouts not even looking at you. "Must be horrible. Horrible t' be stuck with an 'uneducated hick' as a partner! Now y' ain't s' run along." He whispered the last part but you heard it.

" Did you just?"

"Mmhhmm." He nods his head, his lips in a flat line.

"But. . .  I. . ." You shutter. "Come on Daryls. It has been a long, stressful morning. We're both tired and this. . . this will all blow over."

You walk towards him and place a hand on his shoulder. He flinches away from you, a hateful glare washing over your body. He stands, his height making him tower above you. "When I see someone I love kissin' a stranger, I tend  t' get a liddol pissed! I know how this ends y'll leave me fer 'im."

"No Daryl, " tears start to fill your eyes. "It was a thank you kiss. Nothing more."

"That day I brought y' t' the prison y' kissed me on the cheek too. Now look where that got us."

You run out of words so you just violently shake your head.

"Y' know I'm right."

"No, you're not. I love you Daryl, no one else. You're not an 'uneducated hick' and even if you were I'd still love you. You've saved my life one too many times and for that I'm grateful. Please. . . don't throw this away." You lean up on your tiptoes and place a kiss on his lips. Daryl fights the urge to kiss you back but somehow manages to stand his ground. That's when you begin to cry. You pull away and look at him. "That's the first time you've ever not kissed me back. . ."

"I know." He looks at the ground and then back at you. "I need t' help Rick with some stuff. . ." He turns and walks away. You allow yourself to truly break down.

By the time you decide to show your face back at the prison it's dark. You stumble over clumps of soil and grass, sill quietly sobbing and wiping your eyes and nose. Most people were already asleep or reading in their cells. You see Daryl and Carol talking to each other by the dining table. Daryl has his back turned away but as soon as he sees Carol looking he turns to see you. For only a moment, a flash of guilt and sorrow covers his face before he turns back to Carol. You stumble up the stairs and fall onto your bed. You allowed the sobs to rack your body until you fell asleep.

You woke a few hours later. To a cold empty bed. You walked to look at the podium where Daryl used to sleep and sure enough, that's where he was. You tiptoe over and find his cold glare blinking at you in the dark.

"Please," You whisper, your breath still shaky and laboured. "can we just talk about this? Please."

"what's there t' talk 'bout?"

"Daryl, I love you. I'm a mess  and I'm sorry for everything. I'm sorry for everything I've ever done and anything I ever do in the future that upsets you. Just please forgive me." Your whispers were accompanied by quiet tears and pathetic hicupps from crying.

He stands up and just stares at you. Then; he brings you into a hug. His strong arms pull you close and tuck you under his chin.

"(f/n) I'm so sorry. I'm a fucking jackass. I just, never want t' lose y'."

"Saturn is just a planet Daryl, he and it both mean nothing to me." He chuckles and kisses your forehead.

"Just a planet." He confirms "Just a planet." You both ended up having a full out making out session to make up for lost time in the middle of the prison. You had straddled him on a chair with your arms around his neck as he kisses he's way down your jaw line and neck. His tongue painted patterns across your skin while one of his hands kept you balanced and the other tangled itself in your hair. "I think we should," Another kiss. "take this," Another kiss. "to your cell." He scoops you up and starts to make his way to your cell. Your legs wrapped around his middle as he carried you, while you lips devoured his neck.

You never did make it to the bed. He dominated you there and then on the floor, showing you just how much he was sorry. Your moans had filled the prison along with Daryls grunts and curses. After three rounds you decided to call it a night (well early morning) and snuggled up together on the floor.

You pull the sheet off the bed and the pillows before kissing your way up Daryls bicep."Y' tryin' to make it to round four?"

"I don't think I could."

"Me neither."

A concrete decision was then made against confronting him about leaving the prison. 'I think I'm done with arguments' your brain thought. You kiss for a few more minutes before falling asleep together.
