6 weeks after the car accident...
"ALEXIS!!!!!! Get your ass down here right now your going to be late for your first day at university"shrieked mum from downstairs.shit I must have slept through my alarm "coming mum !" I stumbled to get dressed ,I was running really behind I still had to eat breakfast,clean my teeth do my hair and make-up I need to look at least half decent for my first day at uni I still need to pack my toiletries bag and my make up bag in 20 MINUTES !!! Are u kidding me ! "ALEXIS HURRY UP" shouted mum from downstairs again.I pretty much fell down the stairs trying to get downstairs as quick as possible "Thanks for making me pancakes mum" " your welcome honey anything for my baby girls first day of university" I scoffed down my pancakes as quick as possible and rushed back upstairs,I put on a little concealer, blush , eyeliner and mascara I curled my hair and finished packing just in time to leave."DAD! ,please can you carry my suitcases out to my car for me" I heard my dad shout back to say he would I just had to put then outside my room.
I hurried downstairs to say bye to my family but as I came down I saw my mum crying so I ran over to give her hug "I'm going to miss you sweetie" mum cried, in hysterics now it broke my heart so much I hate to see anyone I love cry or upset especially my mum " don't worry mum I'll call all the time and text all the time and I'll visit when ever I can ,promise " i kissed her good bye the went to go find my baby brother jack,I kissed him on the forehead and said bye.Tears threatening to spill i checked the time.Shit I'm 5 mins late as I left I shouted bye to my mum and dad and ran out to my car, my beautiful but small white nissan.
The drive from Manchester to Birmingham was long it took about 2.5 hours as I drove I sang karaoke I sung the typical ed sherran.When I eventually arrived my anxiety really started to kick in as I realized how big it was and how I knew no one at all
I have no idea how I was going to cope at all I started to walk up to the little hut that had a massive sign saying new students come here for your info and key to your dorm.as I was walking up to the little brown hut I bumped into some one and completely knocked her over so she stumbled and fell over " oh my god I'm so sorry are you ok ? " I asked her as I helped her get up " yeah I'm fine " she put her hand out for me to shake it "Kath, nice to meet you" as I shook her hand I told her my name "Alexis ,nice to meet you too even though I just knocked you over ,I'm sorry for that again I'm just so nervous and clumsy" I apologised again .We walked up to the hut to get our keys and information,the lady asked for our names I have her my name "here house 5a room 442" Kath said her name next "EEEEKKKK!! Were in the same house together this is going to be so fun "
