Chapter 4

Arya POV

"Arya wake up! We are going to be late for school." Haruhi yelled at me. Taking my covers away. I groan out.
I hate waking up for school. Getting up slowly I get a dress for school. Black leggings and a t-shirt. Putting my brown hair in a bun. Grabbing my school bag.

"Come on. We have to leave now." Rushing out of the door. I guess it's gonna be one of those days.

Finally making it to school with Haruhi grumbles about school work. We made it when the teacher stepped in. Thank god. I don't wanna embarrass myself for being late with Haruhi.
Walking in. All the girls giggled at Haruhi. Looking back I can see why. "He" had messy hair. "His" uniform was a little messy and "he" was in the host club. If Haruhi was really a boy. I would possibly have a crush on her too. Quickly walking to my desk and voiding the shady twins. I make it in time when the teacher started the lesson.

"Lunch time!" Some girls giggled to themselves. Walking out of the classroom.

Pulling me from my mind. Wow. It is already lunchtime. Looking by side my desk. I don't see my lunch box.
Crap.
I forgot my lunch. Looking for Haruhi. I could see she had hers. When did she have the time to make hers?

"Hey, you wanna eat lunch together?" Haruhi said walking up to me.

"Actually I was gonna take a walk into the gardens. I'm not really hungry." I smiled at her.

"You forgot it didn't you?" She states at me.

"Yeah, but really I'm not hungry. I will eat when I get home." Walking past her. "I will be fine. You can eat with the twins today." I giggled. I know she wanted to hang out with me, but she would give me her lunch and I can't have that.
Walking the halls I spotted the gardens. I approach it with caution and amazement. It was like a maze here. I could be lost forever in this garden. Picking out a red rose. I slowly move it around, but to only poke me with a thorn.

"Ouch." Taking out the thorn from my thumb.

"Hey, are you okay?" A loud voice came from behind me.
I froze.
Turning around it was him. The redhead. Kasanoda Ritsu. Looking down at my hand with a little blood on it.

"Oh yeah. It was from the rose." I blushed looking back at the rose in my uninjured hand.

"Oh-h wel-l..." He stammered out. His face turning red.

"Are you okay?" I giggled at him.

"Yeah!" He yelled at me. His face was still hard but looked like he was having trouble. Looking around. On either side of us was the rose bushes. We were alone. Together.

"It's lunchtime." He stated to me. Looking down on the ground.

"Yeah, I know. I left my lunch box at my friend's house." I softly spoke to him. Looking at his eyes they softened at me.

"Follow." His voice boomed. I didn't know he had such a loud voice.
Carefully I followed him.
It seemed a sudden sound. Could make this boy jump from his skin. Did I disturb his lunch?
In the distance, I see a bench with a briefcase. It was the one I saw earlier.
Kasanoda was hurrying to his belongings and searching for something in his briefcase.

"Here." Kasanoda pushing me his lunch box. Looking away from me again. Looking at the box. It was an old wooden box. This look like it was passed down to generations in his family.

"I can't do that!" I pushed his hand away that had the lunch box. I could feel his hand. So warm and soft.

"Well if you didn't leave your lunch at home! I wouldn't have to give you mine, so take it!" He snapped at me.

Suddenly I felt my hand against the side of his face. I slapped him. He looked so shocked.

"Don't ever talk to me, like that again. I am a girl and deserve respect. Just because I'm not one of those rich girls isn't mean you just to be mean to me!" I screamed at him.
Turning away from him. Going through the maze of the garden I finally see the exit. Touching my face I felt the tears.

I can't believe I had a little crush on that guy. Even if it was a small one. He didn't have to give me his lunch and he could have left me alone in the gardens. I felt my stomach grumbled at moment.
Ok. I was still hungry, but I can make it until the end of the day. I just need to reserve my energy.

Wiping my tears. I walk into the hallway.
Making it into the classroom.
I quickly get to my desk and laying my head on my desk. I can't cry here. People already think I'm a poor. I don't want them to think I'm a crybaby too.
I need Haruhi to tell me it's okay or last resort Ranka telling me. Hearing the school bells, signaling that lunch break was over. Everyone was going back into the classroom. Peeking from my desk. I see Haruhi alone without the twins.

"Hey. What is wrong?" She whispered to me. Taking her seat by the twins.

"I can't believe I had a crush on that guy." I raged at her. Still wiping the tears on my face.
Turning my head the other way. I think she got that I didn't want to talk about it at that moment.

"Crush?" The twins questioned getting close to Haruhi desk.

"Shut up!" I angrily grabbed my bag from the floor and looked for my notebook for class. Looking over I see Haruhi and the twins secretly talking about something. I hope she doesn't tell them about the stupid guy. I don't even want to say his name.
I pouted at the teacher walking in. I can't wait to go home.
All of this because I forgot to bring my lunchbox.
