                                                                       "HOW THEY MET"

            It was so bare, rather than the cook who was preparing food in the cafeteria, the guard who stayed seated in his post beside the gates and the maintenance staff who were chatting downstairs to get their deserved rest, the school feel so empty.

CHAPTER 1: A BIZZARE GUY

              His footsteps were the only rhythm heard in the silent corridor. He was looking for his classroom, considering the fact that he's still new. Finding it, he began to increase his pace when suddenly...

???: Shin, I like you since we were freshies, yet you said nothing about it.(looks up) I want to know how you feel for me.

Shin:(plainly)I don't feel anything for you, Dave.

Dave:(closes eyes) Is that so? (stares at Shin's eyes intently) I'll accept it but I will wait for you.

[outside the room]

???: (listening) what's with that attitude? doesn't she has feelings? STUPID. 

???:What are you doing there? oh, you are new here, are you not?

        that must be the reason why I'm not familiar with his face. 

???: (shifts his glance to where the sweet voice came from) yeah, I'm looking for my room.

???: what year are you anyway? I would be glad to help you.

???: I'm a junior

???: (smiles sweetly)same as me.(looks at the label above the classroom door) And we are already standing before our room. Please do come in. By the way my name is Ryka Santos, and you are?

???: I'm---

Shin:(approaches Ryka)hey, Ryka! The three of us are in the same class(taps Ryka's head)Aren't you the cutest? 

Dave:(shows a fake smile to Ryka)

Ryka: speaking of in the same class, let me introduce you to --(looks for the new comer) his gone...

      Ryka Santos, Shin Flores and Dave Ocampo have been friends since they were in elementary. Every start of the school year, an entrance exam is to be taken by all students whether new or old student. Regardless of the year level, the overall top scorer will have the chance to deliver a welcom address during the opening ceremony. Being the consistent top rankers, the three pals expect one of them to deliver the speech.

Dave: who do you think will give the welcome address from the three of us?

Shin:(raises her shoulders) Dunno. not a clue.

Ryka:whoever it is, let us just wish each other luck.

Principal: Now for the welcome address, may I ask the top scorer Blake Salazar to welcome another school year that will be filled with fun and learnings.

Dave: what!?

Ryka:(curls her forehead)who?

Shin: Blake Salazar

Blake:(goes up the stage)

Ryka: that is the new guy I have helped earlier this morning.

Dave: without a doubt, he will be our classmate. (smiles) this could be exciting.

Blake: uhmmm.. Good morning everyone. Hope you'll enjoy this school year( bows and goes down)

Shin: He is one bizzare guy.
