The Unexpected Chapter 32
Chandra's POV
April never called me so that I could go pick her up from the hospital. I was getting worried because it is getting real late. I texted Angela to see if she seen t heard from April.
Me: Ang have you seen or heard from April.
Angela💖: Nah ChaCha I though you took her to see August earlier ?
Me: I did but she never texted me back to pick her up.
Angela💖: Go to the hospital and see if she there if not call me ASAP Chandra!
Me: Ight I got chu Ang.
I drove back to the hospital doing 60 in a 30 mile zone. I could
Care less right now. I pulled up to the hospital and got out the car and ran to the front desk and got a pass to August room I damn near pushed everyone out my way. I walked inside the room and April was asleep in a chair next to August bed. I singed at least she's safe. I lay laid her on the couch in August's room and texted Ang letting her know April is spending the nigh with Aug. visiting hours are over in 15 minutes but I really need to talk to August.
I say in the chair April had recently sat in and took a deep breath.
" August your wife and children need you. Wake ya caramel ass up brother! Shit Kay-Kay Hasn't said a word in weeks. And when she does speak all she says is (I want my uncle August Mommy) August please pull through and fast before they pull the plug on ya ass brother!"
I whipped my fallen tears and kissed August check and walked out.
August's POV
I can't open my eyes no matter how hard I try. Hearing Chandra cry & tell me how much my babies needs me and miss me hurts. All I see I blackness. I heard my name being call from a distance. I started walking toward where my name was being called from till I see my brother Melvin.
Melly B: Wassup Yungin'
Me: Melly B damn man I missed you.
Melly B: I miss you too Aug but why did you do it?
Me: I did it because I hated knowing ya killer still walked earth and you have to be 6 feet under.
Melly B: Yungin' you have a wife , 3 kids and a grandchild on the way you can't walk around trying to server justice.
Me: I know Melvin but - (GCO)
Melly B: No but's August damn you need to go back cause they need you & right now is not your time to die yungin'
Me: Ight Melly B.
I began to walk away till I herd Mel calling my name "YUNGIN'"
Melly B: Yungin' tell Chandra I love her and miss we and the girls and give mama a hug for me.
Me: Ight I got chu Melly B.
Jut like that he faded away into the blackness. I felt my lifeless body beginning to gain its strength back.
