chapter 1

 hi, I'm Yuki and as for my last name, I don't know it. You see I'm an orphan and unlike all the other kid's I've never known my parent's. How do I know my first name you may ask well the orphanage owner said that it was on the blanket I was wrapped in when she found me on the doorstep. I'm currently 15 years old and I'm an otaku and a pretty strong one at that. well, enough of my rambling and on with the story.

*beep* *beep**beep*

I woke up with a groan. ''god I hate Mondays'' I whispered under my breath as I got out of my warm bed. I stretched as I walked over to the bathroom I shared with many other girls in the home. I looked into the mirror at my black hair and eyes. I was the only one here who had hair and eyes like that and I was constantly picked on for it. sighing I went over to my closet and picked out an outfit for the day. after about 5 minutes I settled for a black panic! at the disco hoodie and a pair of black jeans. I grabbed my bag and ran out without saying a word to anyone. seeing as I didn't feel like going to school today I went to the park. I lived in new york city, it sucked (i have no clue what new york is like sorry if im getting anything wrong) cars everywhere and it was so hot it was horrible. I set on a bench by a pond and took in the beauty. smiling i grabed my cemra and took pictures of the surroundings. ''its nice isnt it?'' i voice said from beside me. i looked up at the man surprised ''uh yea'' i said not knowing how to respond to the man. he smiled at me and i took in his fetures. he had dark brown skin and hair. he was wearing yellow glasses that set on the bridge of his nose and was wearing a white striped button up along with a red tie. I looked away quickly after I noticed I was staring. ''my names Jose Rodrigues'' he said holding out his hand ''Yuki'' I replied shaking it. ''nice to meet you Yuki'' his smile was starting to creep me out. I looked around again and took a picture of a bird that was sitting on a branch nearby. ''tell me Yuki what are you doing here instead of in school?'' Jose asked. I just shrugged in response. he stood up and stretched ''well I better be off it was nice meeting you Yuki'' he said and I turned to respond but as soon as I did he was gone. ''what the hell?'' I muttered looking around for him. I looked down at the bench and there set a neakless. it had a purple pendant on it. I picked it up and slipped it around my neck. I spent a few more minutes on the bench then I stood up and started walking. ''wha!'' I yelled as I fell into the pond. I tried to swim up but it was like a force was pulling me back and soon my world faded to black.
