chapter 3

 Shari and I have been together for three months and have developed a strong bond so now we can talk telepathically and can feel each other's pain. I am currently riding on her back in the sky looking for any suspicious activity like we do every day and as usual, we got nothing but I feel something about today so I'm extra cautious today. I felt sleepy and I guess that Shari felt it because she asked me if I wanted to take a nap and also said that she would wake me if she sees anything so I laid down and actually slept but was woke up by Sheri and I immediately got into a fighting stance as I looked down I saw people down by one of the nests and saw some kid fall. I have a very strong maternal instinct so I was worried " take me down closer " I told Sheri " ok " she answered and did as told she got within distance so they could see me but of course I was wearing my masks and cloak so they couldn't see my face or my hair. Once in the right distance, I jumped down in between the boy and the mother dragon. I then spread my arms in front of the boy and looked her in the eye and did something that probably shocked them I spoke to her " stop! " I screamed " stop there is no need for fighting! " I yelled, of course, I used the dragon's language so she could understand me. She answered back with a no and that she needs to protect her child at that I looked down and saw a newborn Dragon " I know but you don't have to hurt him! Can't you see that he don't have any weapons" I yelled with my arms still in front of him she answered with an ok and I smiled and said " good " and turned to the boy " you know that you shouldn't be here it's dangerous" I said in his language with a stern voice " sorry I just really wanted to see a dragon" he answered " be careful ok? she could have killed you " I said to him and he nodded then I heard a voice" your Majesty!" The voice cried. I looked up to see three people coming down.  " im here!" He yelled and ran off to the people to tell them and after a few minutes they all came over to where I was standing. I had to look up to see two of them and the other two were shorter than the other tall one's " hello " one of them said the other's were eather crying or trying to punch the dubble black and I smiled at that but thay couldn't tell becous of the mask but I turned to the one with Brown hair " hi" I said " I'm conrad Weller and may I ask why you are in here " he asked "im yuki " I said " nice to meet you yuki" he said" that dosent answer why you are here though'' he said '' I live here'' i  answerd back ''oh! I forgot to ask him if he wanted to ride Shari'' I muttered then walked over to the double black ''hey I forgot to ask since you liked dragons so much do ya want to ride one?'' I asked him '' I can!? wow, yea that would be awesome'' he answered ''great" I said and whistled for Shari. A few minutes later she came with a gust of wind. She got just fair enough billow us for me to jump on her back. They looked surprised " come on she can't stay like this forever!" I yelled And he jumped on. And we're off! he screamed. Once we were sturdy I turned around to see how he was doing and it was hilarious. I had to hold back laugh that's how funny it was!
