It should be here that this instance has happened and will happen again. Soon. Maybe.
A dark-haired pale-skinned adolescent man looked around vigilantly but discreetly for unusual movements. He sat down a bench at the park facing a crossroad where a bank was located. He pretended to read the daily newspaper while secretly glancing often at the bank.
He checked his watch. 1:14pm.
Tch. These guys picked an awkward time for their modus.
A stomach grumbled. Apparently, it was his. I should have stopped by some fast food chain before this silly mission.
He started debating on whether to wait a few minutes more or take a quick dash to the nearest fast food chain and grab a burger and fries to appease his growling stomach before any action would take place.
Just when he decided to grab a snack, he saw a girl about his age dash for her life as fast as she could trying to outrun her pursuer. Or pursuers for that matter.
In a hurry to save the girl's life, he quickly got to his feet and followed them. Here we go.

"Please, please don't kill me! Just give me one more da-"
A middle-aged family man pleaded the two men in gray suits and dark shades to spare his life but a gunshot quickly ended it. He was only a collateral and therefore expendable in this operation.
A loud gasp escaped a bystander's mouth. One of the men caught in his peripheral vision a young woman made a run for her life in an attempt to escape them. He immediately left to follow her while the other man hastily yet very carefully disposed of any evidence that could get them in trouble.
Oh no! Oh no! I can't let them catch me. What was that all about?!
Misch ran as fast as she could without looking back to see if she was being chased or not. Better safe than sorry. Better not to be involved. She squeezed through a crowd busy with their day-to-day lives. She thought that by passing through a condensed street of people could help keep her distance from her pursuers. Still, she needed to think fast where she could hide to completely shake them off.

Aaron tried his best to catch up to the girl and her pursuers. He was two seconds behind and the crowd of people kept slowing him down.
They messed up. And, someone unintentionally got involved. I have to save her one way or another.
He declared mentally while hoping and praying that he would still find the girl alive although he did expect to see them disposing her.
From a distance he caught sight of police gathering around. He went to take a closer look and was shocked to find one of the pursuers in a pool of blood. The other was held captive by the cops, his hands cuffed behind his back. They immediately led him inside one of the police cars.
A tap on his shoulders startled him. A familiar voice spoke, "Hey Aaron! Great job!"
Confused, he turned to the guy who he recognized as his colleague. "What do you mean?"
"You finally did it right this time!" His colleague gave him a rub on his back. "Well, I best be going! I have another mission to complete." With that, he left Aaron more confused than ever before. Aaron sighed before leaving too.
At least I can now get some rest. Oh shoot! I have homework for my class tomorrow!
