Do I look ok? My gosh, Blake, you're pathetic, slow your roll. Checking, again, my hair and makeup in the mirror hanging in the lobby. I had waited months to meet him in person, Brody, the surfer from California. You can only have so much FaceTime and Snapchat.

The wavy blonde hair, the bright blue eyes – the eyes that can melt my soul, the a-typical-looking surfer, even with the surfer name. Yet, he wasn't the typical surfer. He was intelligent, funny –  much more than just beautiful.

Me, just Blake, the country girl from Montana couldn't ever compete in that league. So, I thought. Yet, here I was, waiting to meet the guy I fell in love with over the internet. Today was my 18thbirthday, we chose to meet in Seattle. My parents refused to let me meet some random guy I met off the internet. "You'll have to wait until you're 18," they lectured. So, here I am.

The lobby doors opened with a swoosh, the smell of the salt water wafted in. Finally. Sexier in person, and with my favorite flowers – purple roses. I race to him, throwing my arms around his neck, burying my nose in his neck. His hair smells of coconuts, his skin a mix of sweat and Axe body spray. "So worth the wait baby," he whispered. "My gosh yes," I whispered back.

Brody laced his fingers in mine, "are you ready?" "For you always," I exclaimed excitedly. "But first," he pulled me close, kissing me. I felt like I was on fire, from my head to my toes.

Outside the Crowne Plaza, the BlackUber was at the curb. "Our chariot, my lady," he outstretched his hand as he opened the door. The sea breeze caught my long blonde hair as we climbed inside. Down to Pier 57 the Denali stealthily cruised.

First, was the carousel, and then the rest of the Pier. Our hands intertwined, barely letting go. I'll never forget his hand on my cheek, brushing it lightly placing a kiss on my nose. Don't every underestimate the power of a simple kiss. Electricity set my every nerve in my body on fire. Is it possible to meet your soulmate on the internet?

The stars hung in the sky like God had purposely cleared the a-typical Seattle clouds. Please, never let this night end. Standing next to The Seattle Great Wheel Brody kisses me, deeply. When parted he asked, "you ready?" Head nodding to the ferris wheel. "Um..." before I could speak he drags me in.

Holding me close as we make it to the top. The Puget Sound sparkled like diamonds below. The lights sparkled – the reds, whites, blues. It couldn't get any better or could it? I turn to face Brody. He has a simple silver ring, "Babe, I know it's soon, but I cannot live without you. Will you marry me?" "Yes!" I screamed. There was never any doubt.

You really can find your soulmate on the internet.
