Chapter 5: Elections? Elections.(Part 1- GOOD Friends)

I'm actually making a lot of good friends here, note that the word 'good' is highlighted. I've been meeting a LOT of people who want to either talk to me or be friends with me, thanks to my very awesome encounter with Sara. Many have actually warned me to be careful as Sara won't sit that quiet and might 'sting' back ANYTIME. I haven't really done such a big deed by standing up for myself and against her when she chose to bitch around with my friends and stuff, but yeah. These people SURELY think that it was very brave.

We're gonna be having elections and campaigns for the whole of next week so that's gonna be VERY EVENTFUL. So, basically HALF of my batch and the batch which is paired to mine is either standing for the election or helping out with the candidates. Every candidate is given his/her own 'team' where a group of students make posters and placards, another group campaigns and the last group helps with voting, investiture ceremony and other events related to it.

Jenilia is standing in the elections for the Dance and Music Department; Venessa for the Newspaper department; Alex for the main cabinet and council; Mara (after a lot of nagging and pleading) for the girls soccer team captain; Jordan, Will, Mike and David (Mike and David are Will and Jordan's friends and have recently become friends of mine too) are all standing for the Sports Department and Captainship. The EXTREMELY popular kids in senior and junior year are the ones who are actually standing for the elections so it would be totally unfair if I didn't. I found out that there is a 'Horizon Magazine department' which is also eligible for election. The candidates for this one are always kept secret until the day of voting. The one receiving the highest votes becomes the Chief Editor and the one receiving the second highest number of votes becomes the Co-Editor. I decided that this was something I could actually stand for. I've already been the Chief editor of the Magazine twice at Harper High in Chicago and the Magazine was quite popular and attractive, so yeah. It would a perfect thing to stand for. And it would also be damn EXCITING as the candidates you're standing against is a complete MYSTERY. 

Thanks to being in the secret list, my team was also a secret and we all had to do our work secretly after school. Jenilia always likes the "perfection" so she would also stay back at school and help her team. She eventually found out the reason I stayed back but promised not to tell anyone anyways. We would go back home together in one of our cars and usually grab some Ice cream or Burgers on the way back home. This is getting better and better everyday.

  So basically we have the election to various departments on Monday; then election of the club leaders on Tuesday; election to the sports, cultural council, Magazine and Newspaper departments on Wednesday; election to the main student cabinet and council on Thursday and finally the Investiture ceremony on Friday.   

That's gonna be VERY EVENTFUL.

It's only two days for our election and when I got to my team's reserved area earlier this morning, I found that the entire set, along with the posters, badges AND placards, was SABOTAGED. The entire place was WRECKED.

What's worse, I found a brooch at the scene of horror. A very familiar brooch. Someone wears that brooch EVERYDAY and no one except that one person has that brooch.

Sara.

To say that my blood's boiling over a thousand degrees celcius is an understatement. I was a HUMAN VOLCANO who was not only ready to erupt but was also accompanied by a horrible storm and a million tornadoes. I was SURELY gonna get back at her.

I got a few of my 'spies' who were on my team, to find out if Sara was standing in the elections. The result was that she did . For the magazine department. I even got them to find out where her  set was kept and... well, did the EXACT SAME THING she did to my set. I wrecked it. But I do have my own taste of revenge. I left her a note too:

Okay, I know that's rude but honestly, THIS IS WHAT YOU CAN DO TO RUDE PEOPLE.

Hopefully, a girl in my team, Bethany, has some contacts which can give us a speedy recovery from our sabotaged sets. I THANK GOODNESS that Bethany was here to help us out and so were all the other team members. I've promised them a pizza and movie night at my house tonight for all their hard work, cooperation and effort and MOSTLY for standing by me when the set got sabotaged when they all could've just quit on me and said that they're not gonna help me out anymore.

P.s. I KNOW that the note thing Janet sent to Sara is HUGE. but I sadly couldn't make one with smaller dimensions, nor can we reduce it's size on wattpad (if u do know how to reduce it, pls let me know in the comments).
