"Hoy malapit nyo nang maubos yung grapes! Tigilan nyo na nga yan!" A high pitched female voice said.
"Okay lang yan marami pa namang ibang prutas dyan." A male voice answered followed by a couple of banters.
I opened my eyes, blinking a few times to adjust to the light. Why am I hearing people talking inside my room and why are the lights on?
Then it dawned on me that I'm not in my room. First, because I can't remember having my ceiling painted with white. Second, there is a transparent object covering my nose and mouth with the familiar beeping sound from the machine on the side.
Hospital.
I am in a hospital.
But how did get here? I don't rememb--
"Glad you're having fun."
"Me too."
"But know your limit Georg. You'll get both of us in trouble if anything happens."
"I'll probably bump into Jackson on my way there, I'll let him wait so we could go back here together. How 'bout that?"
"Alright. Just be careful okay? Be sure you'll find Jackson."
"Have you been drinking?"
"Secret!"
"Georgia.. I'm serious where are you right now?"
"You're not serious! You're monkey!"
"You're drunk. D^mn it! Who are you with?"
Memories from the night before came flashing through my mind. Right, I was at the bar with them, and I remember talking to monkey on the phone before I passed out.
"Last two na dude!"
I was interrupted by a male voice which belongs to Jackson who's holding a handful of grapes if I'm not mistaken, while aiming to throw one at Austin's open mouth who's standing a couple of feet away from where he is.
The others are here too, even William is silently seating on the couch with a magazine on his hands. I am still looking at him when he raise his head, his eyes meeting mine.
He suddenly got on his feet but somehow stopped himself even before he could take a single step forward. His actions caught the other's attention making them notice me as soon as they followed his gaze.
"Georgia!"
"You're up!"
"Girl!"
"Gising kana!"
They said, rushing towards my bedside, except for William who looked at me once more before going out of the room, slamming the door shut.
What did I do this time?
I stared at the door while others felt silent for a moment before Sunny spoke.
"Hayaan mo na yun. Nag-alala lang yun ng sobra kahit di nya aminin kaya ganon." She said with a reassuring smile.
"Are you Samantha?" I blurted out.
She looked confused on why am I asking but still managed to nod in response.
"Hala girl, kami kilala mo pa?" Tiffany said from the other side of my bed.
"You are?" I said.
"Hah!? So ano to selective amnesia, si Sunny kilala mo pero ako hindi? Ang galing naman nun!" She said with a dramatic gasp, her voice laced with sarcasm.
