×Narrator's POV×
1 week later
"Hae Ra, I brought you food, I hope you eat it this time, it's your favorite, Lamb Skewers," her mother said placing the tray near her bed.
She sighed seeing the untouched food, it has been a week that she started acting like this. She never came out of her room since that incident happened.
She didn't eat and all she did was cry and sleep. She didn't care if anything happened to her as long as she could see Jinyoung again.
"Please eat, it pains me seeing you like this. You have to move on Hae Ra, I don't want to see my daughter getting hurt," her mother said sitting on her bed, her back facing her mother.
"You knew," Hae Ra said, still not looking at her mother.
"You knew everything but you didn't tell me," she said, she couldn't cry anymore since she had been crying for days.
"I'm so sorry Ra," her mother said and walked out of her room, guilt filling her.
Hae Ra decided to go out and get some fresh air so she took a shower and got changed onto some comfy clothes.
She went to a park where both of them usually go. She sat down on one of the benches and stared at the little children who were playing. A tear escaped her eye,
She missed him dearly and he was all she could think of.
"Hey, don't cry," she heard a deep and husky voice and she saw a handkerchief being handed to her.
She took the handkerchief and wiped her tears.
"Daniel, Kang Daniel," she read the words that was on the handkerchief.
"Thanks Daniel," she said and looked at the boy, he was handsome and he had the perfect features.
"What's your name?" Daniel asked.
"Hae Ra, Park Hae Ra," she said hesitating a bit.
"Can we be friends?" Daniel asked.
That question hit her, she remembered the day they met.
"S-sure,"she said and they shaked hands.
'It's for the best' she thought.
