Towering above them as high as the cave ceiling, the huge astromon swung its fist at Gregor's team of four. The attack, managing to connect with all four astromon, sent them flying back over Gregor's head. He darted after them as they slowly stumbled to their feet, exhausted.
"C'mon guys, you can do this! We've beaten this kind of astromon before!"
The astromon leader responded, "We may have beaten Astral Overlords before, Master, but this one is on its own level of power!"
"Well, this will be a great way to push your limits! Let's beat this thing!" Gregor excitedly retaliated.
His astromon's stares showed how insane they thought he was.
The leader spoke again, "Are you crazy? We need to retreat!"
"Unacceptable! Try your best! Exceed your limits! Do the undoable!"
"I think he's been watching too much anime," one of the astromon whispered to another.
Suddenly, his astromon's eyes grew wide and the leader yelled, "Gregor, look out!"
The Astral's chakram was soaring straight towards him. Gregor turned to see his impending doom cutting towards the air at high speed. A blur of movement and a clashing of metal against metal revealed an astromon with a huge sword and valiantly flowing cape. It had blocked the attack, causing the chakram to ricochet off of his sword, sparks flying. Immediately afterwards, it charged toward the Astral Overlord, prepared to fight it solely by itself.
Gregor and his 'mons gawked in amazement for a moment before Gregor demanded, "Help that 'mon! We can't let ourselves be in debt now can we?"
With newfound moral, his astromon all replied.
"No way!"
"Yes, Master!"
"Let's rip 'em to shreds!"
"Flank him!"
They all charged into battle behind the mysterious astromon, battle cries echoing off the dim cave walls.

"I'm proud of all of ya!" Gregor said loudly as they walked the tunnel to the cave's exit, "I declare a feast when we get home! It'll be like the happy ending to an intense anime episode!"
"I told you so." The 'mon whispered to the other again.
The new astromon was trailing behind them, claiming he was monitoring them to ensure their safety, "It's my job as King to keep all astromon safe from harm."
Gregor's mouth widened and he shouted, "You're a king? No way!"
He then stopped and bowed, "Thank you again for your assistance King-errr..."
"Arthur," the king said, "Just call me Arthur."
Their trek commenced and Gregor asked, "Not that I'm complaining, but why were you in the Starstone Dungeon? It doesn't seem like a place where a king would hang around."
"I've been training there," Arthur answered.
"Training! By yourself?" Gregor was astonished, "It's too dangerous!"
Arthur nodded, "Maybe so, but I must be strong to protect that I care for, something that I have lacked in the past."
Scratching his beard, thoughtful, Gregor proposed an offer, "Well, how about this. I will help you train if you," he drew out the word and stuck his lips out, "join my astromon team."
