"Annabeth? Do you truly believe Drew?" I grabbed her arms and helped her to her feet. Annabeth looked at the soft evergreen moss that was speckled around her feet. Her silence told me all I needed to know. I touched her nails which had some dried blood behind them. Presumably Drew's.

"Annabeth all of that couldn't be farther from the truth. I love you a we will get married someday. I promise". Annabeth's sky gray eyes lifted slightly from the ground just enough to meet mine.

"I know that Percy. It's just so hard to block out all the constant rumors. I don't even want to get married yet. But It's just... the gossips never rest." Her sad face turned into a fabricated smile. That's a start.

"You know what you need Annabeth?"

"What?"

"A break. Mom has been begging me to have us come visit for some time now. We could leave Friday and come back Monday morning." Finally Annabeth's phony smile turned into a real grin of excitement.

"Oh Percy that would be wonderful! And Hazel was telling me about how her cousin was opening a restaurant on the Hudson this Sunday. Maybe we can get her to call in a favor to get us a reservation.

"Anything you wish Wise Girl." I have her a quick peck on the noes and pulled her in to a bear hug as she nuzzled my chest. Then we walked hand in hand back to the pavilion.

As we came into view I noticed a not so cheerful Piper staring at her food like it called her fat and a frantic Jason trying to figure out what's wrong Then Piper looked this way startled she laughed and shook her head.

"Percy I always underestimate you," said Piper as we got closer. "Every time I think Annabeth is to sad to come back from it. You always some how know just what to say." I sat down next to Jason and Annabeth next to Piper.

"I'll get you some food," I said. When I returned with two full plates of food, we told Jason and Piper about our mini vacation plans. During this time Nico joined us. Suddenly breaking our conversation we heard a murmuring Clarise.

"Why do we even have cabin table assignments if we aren't going to use them?" We all laughed and just minutes later we all retired to our cabins. And just to clarify, no you do not have to sleep in your parental cabin if you are married. You are not only aloud, but encouraged to build your own cabin so you do not bother your other cabin mates.
