I sit in Mr. Acing's class, It's a statistics class as if I could do any more math. Algebra two is kicking my butt. Then again it's an upgrade from having Kaitlyn in every one of my classes. She annihilates me. Except in bowling.
"Okay, Class today we have a new student." Me Acing point to a tall boy in the back of the classroom. "Mr.Hendrix!" He glances at his clipboard leaving us in suspense. "Jason, is it?"
"Yes, I mean that is my name. I moved here from Hendrix Academy. My father was the headmaster and-"
"Nobody cares, Hender-ox!"
"Ms. Kobayashi! Please not on the second day!"
"The name is Raven!!" Raven is our 'adoring cheerleader' in the class. She occasionally talks criticizing everyone's move. Giving no one any creative freedom. Her long deep dark Prussian blue color hangs softly over, her large bright blue hair and pale skin. Her hair parts from the side of her head. I look back at Mr. Acing who is shaking his head while looking straight at her.
"Let's get on with our lesson. Today we'll be staring with the basics." We all groan in agony. As if starting from the very beginning is like death itself. Which it is. Starting at the beginning is great, but in actual reality it's a devils wish. Staring from the ground up. Dante taps me on the shoulder.
"More like the foundation up."
"How do you know I was thinking about that?"
"You were murmuring it under your breath."
" Oh, sorry!"
"It's okay, just try not to make it a habit. I don't know what you're going to say when I'm not around." We get back to our class work and soon enough class time goes by in a flash.
"Alright class, it's that sad time in the period, where we part till tomorrow. Good Bye!" Just as he says that the school bell chimes. I head to my locker and head off to my next class, kIntegrated 2.
"Yay more math!" I say to myself dwelling in my glumness anxiously awaiting the next class.
