Hatred or Love? (Mitsuki x Reader)

Chapter 9

Before she can stab me, a shuriken went past the spear, stopping it from getting pierce through me.

"What the..." Y/n murmured and the next thing she knows, she couldn't move.

"What a drag." Shikadai complained while restraining Y/n.

"Okay, you listen right here right now Y/n. Tell us your problem or we'll end this right here right now!" Boruto demanded with anger in his eyes.

"Let. Me. Go!" Y/n exclaim while trying to move.

I could see in Shikadai's eyes that he was struggling on keeping Y/n under his shadow jutsu technique.

"Tell us Y/n!" Boruto once shouted and Y/n did something we never expected.

"You will never understand, none of you will ever understand!" She yelled as electric started surrounding her body again and I took this opportunity to try and return her back to herself.

"Shikadai, try holding it a little bit longer." I told him and he didn't even tried to reply since he was focusing on Y/n.

"I'll try to understand." I started speaking and Y/n's gaze went to me.

"Mitsuki-" Boruto tried stopping me but I gave him a reassuring smile.

This will hurt but it's worth it

"Get away!" Y/n shouted as the electric now turned into lightnings.

The sky started to get darker and thunder was starting to cry.

"Y/n, please tell me everything. I will try to understand even if it's hard. I will take all the pain that you're feeling." I said as I'm now only five meters away from her.

"STAY AWAY! YOU WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND!" Her hair was starting to go up and electric appeared on both of her hand.

This is it

At full speed, I dash towards her then put her into my arms, embracing her. Even though her lightnings was hurting me, I kept hugging her and endure the pain.

"I will understand if you just... trust me. Please Y/n, come back. I don't like seeing you like this. Come back to your old self, come to... me." I said softly and soon after, the lighting disappeared including the clouds.

As soon as everything disappeared, it became quiet until I heard sobs coming from Y/n. I slowly stroke her hair and kept her close to me. I felt my heart beating so loud and fast and that's when I really knew that Y/n was the moon that I've been waiting for.

Seeing her cry on my chest makes me want to remove all the pain that she was feeling and replace it with happiness and joy so I will never see her cry again.

"It's okay, it's okay." Not knowing what to say, I just let her cry while continuing to stroke her hair.

As soon as she calmed down, she look up to me with red puffy eyes. She opens her mouth to say something but was interrupted when Boruto's phone rings. 

"Okay, I just receive a message from Shino-sensei that he wants to meet us in the forest ASAP." Boruto said.

"I wonder what he wants." Shikadai sigh while scratching his head. "Have you done something again Boruto?"

"Eh? Why only me? He also wants the two of you right?" Boruto pointed out. "Oh and one more thing Y/n, whatever happened in the past got nothing to do in the present. People deserves second chances right? And if someone made you angry in the past which got nothing to do with those people who came from the right village, then it is not really their fault for making you mad."

"Well then, it might be important so shall we?" I said and they nod. 

"Are you okay now?" I ask Y/n and she nods. "Maybe one day you'll tell us about your past. You don't need to tell us now, you can take your time."

It would be better if we give her some space in the meantime

I look at Boruto and Shikadai and it seems that they were thinking the same thing as me. I gave her a smile and before we could leave, she spoke up.

"C-can I come?" She questioned and we all look at her.

"Sure, why not." I replied and she nods without giving anyone eye contact.

She just look down the ground and I walk towards her while placing a hand on her shoulder. She look up with those beautiful e/c eyes of her which made my heart skip a beat.

"Don't worry, everything will be fine. I'll be fine. Don't trouble yourself too much." I told her and she nods, still not making any eye contact. "Let's go."

We went to the forest where Shino-sensei told us to meet and when we got there, I saw that he was surrounded by purple chakra.

Not again...

Reader's POV

Five minutes later, Shino-sensei started attacking us. Me, Mitsuki and Shikadai manage to dodge Shino's bugs but Boruto got caught in it. He was almost getting surrounded by the bugs but Mitsuki saved him.

I saw how his hands stretch out just like Orochimaru's ones. I clench my hand into a fist and bit my lip but then I remembered what Boruto told me.

"Oh and one more thing Y/n, whatever happened in the past got nothing to do in the present. People deserves second chances right? And if someone made you angry in the past which got nothing to do with those people who came from the right village, then it is not really their fault for making you mad."

Of course, how could I be so stupid? Getting angry to someone that doesn't even deserve it. I'm sorry Mitsuki, I promise you. From this day on, I will protect you even if it cost me my life! That's the only repayment for all the things that I have done to you

We all manage to get away from Shino-sensei but his bugs were still chasing us. The moment we step into the water, I notice that the bugs tried to avoid the water.
