How We Became The Worlds Greatest Heroes [Part 11]

Shi PoV

Todoroki and Izu lay on the ground completely exhausted.

"C'mon guys! You two are wimps! Get off your asses and get back to work!"

"No... I... Can't go on...."

"L-language Shi!"

They said panting.

I got a dark aura around me, "Get up. Now."

Scared out of their minds they got up and were as stiff as a board. "Good now let's start going again!" I said happily.

They sweatdropped.

"Ok, so we will be learning how to do this," I do a back walkover into the splits.

Izu winces and covers his crotch (lol) and Todo stands there amazed.

"We have to do that?" Izu asks nervously

"Yup!"

He whimpers.

"Todoroki-kun you go first," Izu says and pushes Todo

"Sure." he replies, "So what do I do?"

"For now we're just going to make sure you can do a backbend. Most people can but not for long. So stand here facing that way." I say. He walks in front of me and faces the side.

I place one hand on his lower back and one on his upper back.

"Lean back with your arms at your ears."

He started leaning back and once his hands reached the floor I started talking, "Tilt your head back and look at the ground." I looked at his legs, "Put your heels on the ground." I looked at how he was, "Can you hold it without me?"

A small yes was heard from him, "Ok I'm letting go." I let go and take a few steps back to see if anything needed to be fixed.

"You need to lean on your shoulders more, straighten your arms, and try walking your hands as far as you can to your feet."

He did what I told him and he is surprisingly flexible. Almost as good as me..... almost.

"Now try, leaning forward onto your toes and stand up."

He got up a quarter of the way and started falling, I saw that he wouldn't be able to catch himself. Instinct kicked in and I boosted over to him in less than a second and caught him before he hurt himself.

Once I caught him I realized what just happened... I stared wide-eyed at the fence for a second and slowly turned my head to Izu to see if he saw what I thought just happened.

We locked eyes and I saw he stared back at me with mouth and eyes agape.

"Izuku I need to speak to you inside real quick," I said quietly but loud enough for him to hear

"Yeah, you have some explaining to do."

We walked inside after we pardoned ourselves. We headed to our bedroom and sat down on our couch.

"I'm waiting," Izu said to me.

 I started fidgeting, 'It's alright he did it too didn't he?'  I took a deep breath, "I got a quirk from someone." I squeezed my eyes shut waiting for a reaction... but there was none.

I looked up slowly to see a shocked face but the look in his eyes told me that he wanted more info.

I looked back down at my hands and continued, "She texted me randomly saying to come to the place where I made my greatest mistake, that's why I asked you that the one day. She was freaking out in the text saying that she didn't mean to sound creepy or anything," I paused to laugh slightly.

"When we met up I was sceptical at first, but soon realized that she was just a 30-year-old woman that was giving up on the life she was living and wanted to start again. I inherited her quirk. She said it was a little different from All Might's but was basically the same thing, just without the risks when first learning it. I signed a contract with a familiar and she said it was very powerful. Ku, can you make it to where Izu, my mom, and Todo can see you?"

"Yes, Shi." She shined for a second then went back to normal.

"Todo's mom is actually Ku's sister's master."

I finished the entire explanation and looked up from my hands to see a furious Izuku. My eyes widened as wide as they could

I started shaking slightly, 'no...no... no no no no no no no no this can't be happening right now! I cant be having a panic attack! I only got those then...'

"WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!?! YOU DONT KNOW THEM!! YOU DONT KNOW WHAT THE 'QUIRK' COULD DO TO YOU!!" I flinched

"I.. just wanted to protect... you."

"YOU KNEW I WAS GOING TO GET MY QUIRK FROM HIM!!! YOU KNOW I DON'T NEED ANY PROTECTION!!! THAT'S MY JOB!! DO YOU KNOW HOW SELFISH YOU WERE BEING!?! YOU COULD'VE PUT ALL OF US IN DANGER!!! DID YOU KNOW THAT DAD IS ACTUALLY IN A MAFIA!?! HE HAS PEOPLE LOOKING FOR HIM TO KILL HIM!!! THEY ARE PROBABLY SEARCHING FOR US TO USE AS BAIT!!!"

"I... I'm s-sorry..." I said and looked at my hands that were turning white from being balled into fists. I started shaking vigorously and hyperventilating.

".shit..S-Shi I didn't  mean to yell I'm sorry." He said soothingly. He reached out his hand and I instinctively flinched.

He kept his hand there until I hesitantly went to go grab it. Once I almost got his hand he grabbed it and pulled me into a hug. A hug that I've come to love. 

I hug him back and he starts rocking us. He kissed the top of my head and started singing a lullaby,

As if to tell me that, 'Dreaming's all right.'

Everything is all right. I won't let anyone hurt you. Although I don't think that job will be open for much longer seeing as you now have Todoroki-kun." I looked up at him and saw he had a sad smile on his face.

"You'll always have that job because you'll always be my big brother!" I hugged him tighter.

I smelled a familiar smell and look to the doorway to see Todo.

I laughed a bit as he nervously explained why he was there.

"I got a back walkover... I think..." 

"How long have you been there?" Izu asks

"Since the part... about your.. father." I feel Izu tense up. "I won't tell anyone if that's the problem."

"Just know that 1) you are in danger knowing about this and 2) if you tell anyone, you're putting Shi, our mom, you, and I in incredible danger." He tensed up at the mention of me being in danger and nodded.

"I will not tell anyone even if my life depended on it!"

'thats what they all say...' I heard.... Izu.... Think?
