"Deja me!" Rosalinda smacked his hands away as he tried to touch her.
It was a lie! He didn't have a collar on her, he knew the stress it put much on her and the baby. If she were hurt in anyway all leverage he had over Leon went out the window.
"Do you want to go outside or not?" He hissed as he slammed the end call button.
Rosalinda nodded her head as she looked around her old apartment. It was boarded up, with minimal light. All that remained was a mattress in the middle of her bedroom.
With a satisfied smirk Jamie walked towards the door, only to turn towards her with narrowed eyes. "One sound or sudden movement," swiftly he reached behind him. Tilting her head Rosalinda wanted to test how heavy this new threat was. "Someone's getting a nice hole in the back."
Rosalinda shuffled back in terror as Jamie revealed a handgun. "No, please don't hurt anyone," bravely she swallowed and stepped towards him. If she had to endure being by Jamie's side a little more so no one got hurt, so be it. Taking his hand in hers she kept her watery eyes to the floor. "I'll listen."
God she didn't want to imagine Jamie pulling out that gun on anyone. Especially not Leon or anyone else in her small family for that matter. It would rip her to bits if that ever occurred.
Jamie honestly had her right where he wanted.
A victorious smirk stretched across his lips; concealing the gun in the small of his back Jamie tilted her chin up. Pressing his lips against hers he lingered longer than usual.
Rosalinda felt tears roll down her cheeks. Her baby rolled in her belly as if to comfort her. Running her hand over the stomach, Rosalinda broke the kiss and moved to the side while Jamie turned to lock the front door.
"Daddy needs a new suit." Jamie lower his face to her stomach. Rosalinda felt her body refuse any physical contact from the man in front of her; the kiss she could deal with, but the attention he brought to her stomach made her want to barf, especially when he caressed the smooth surface over her dress.
Rosalinda gazed up in confusion. "We're really going outside?"
Nodding he took her by the wrist, down the stairs and into the sleek car. Jamie removed the bodyguards knowing it would draw suspicion, considering the neighborhood she used to live in.
Buckling herself in she leaned against the window. She was thrilled to be outside again, the air was crisp and enjoyable. The noontime sun shone through the car warming her lap and belly.
A hand smoothed the side of her head. Not bothering to acknowledge it, Rosalinda's mind roamed to Leon. Her hands itches to touch his hair and caress his face; to run her palms over his well-kept beard. Having his arms wrap around her body and simply hold her.
Gah! She craved his attention; Rosalinda closed her eyes, recalling his voice. Her Leon sounded wounded, she knew he was taking her disappearance in the worst way possible. That man held his world and the world of others on his shoulders.
If she were there, she'd pinch him for the bad habit then kiss him. Only after she can permanently remove the sensation of Jamie's lips off hers. She would need a brillo pad for that.
The car cruised into a parking spot in front of a high end looking tailor shop. Rosalinda rolled her eyes.
She should have known Jamie wasn't kidding about the suit. The self-absorbed man only thought of himself.
Jamie slid out the car and led her inside with a firm arm around her waist and hand on her hip. He pulled her in against his body, resulting in a grunt due to the soft impact.
"You know what I'm capable of," he then moved to place her ear by his mouth. "I don't think you want blood on your hands."
Rosalinda bit her lip to stop herself from sobbing.
Jamie kissed her head and forced her to walk in front of him.
Right away Jamie was attended to by a suited older man. He smiled and inquired on what they, more specifically Jamie was interested in.
They were ushered into a room where they were going to take his measurements. Jamie placed Rosalinda by the corner of the room, with Jamie blocking her only escape.
Huffing she studied the array of ties.
"Wow, your wife is really showing," a woman walked in carrying tracing material.
It took everything inside her not to roll her eyes. This wasn't the kind of attention she was referring to.
Jamie kissed her head once more as he moved to allow the man place materials and pins along his body.
"We think it's a girl, it's too early to tell." Jamie announced. Wow he might as well be the one expecting.
Rosalinda turned and smiled thinking about a pregnant Jamie. What a sight.
"Would you like a drink or something to snack on while you wait for your husband?" Embarrassing enough her stomach growled at the thought of food.
Jamie had only given her a yogurt cup. Bastard had the nerve to call her round. She's was freaking pregnant!
Rosalinda eagerly nodded her head.
"Keep an eye on her she's very precious to me." He said before giving Rosalinda a hard stare.
Shrugging she left and snatched a cereal bar from the table. The taste of blueberries was delightful. The woman beside her handed her a small bottle of apple juice.
Smiling in gratitude Rosalinda and took it from the woman's hand. "Thank you, you're too kind."
The woman waved her hand in dismissal. "The pleasure is mine. Make yourself comfortable, put your feet up."
Rosalinda wanted to hug the woman for her kind words. She regretted acting snippy towards her in the beginning.
Sitting on a leather couch Rosalinda sighed as it sunk around her body. Her back was aching and so were her feet. They pulsated the longer she was on her feet.
Reaching for another bar her hand clashed with someone else's. Looking up to apologize tears welled in her eyes.
"Olive?" Rosalinda whispered.
The red-haired woman gasped as she pulled Rosalinda up into her arms.
"Leon- he- I have to call the police-" Rosalinda placed her hand over the woman's mouth.
With wide frightened eyes Rosalinda shook her head. "No, you have to listen to me, Jamie is armed. He will seriously hurt someone if not worse. Leave now."
Olive began to argue only to have her shoved back. Jamie's body came in between them.
"Rosalinda what did I say earlier?" Jamie's voice was low and calm.
Rosalinda felt herself struggling to breath. Her heart thudded in her ears loudly she almost didn't hear him speak.
"Please don't-"
Jamie whipped around with a hand around Olive's wrists. Her fingers were turning red from the harsh grip.
Olive struggled to try and move away from him. She reached for her phone only to end up on the ground. "Let go now!"
His arm whipped back and collided with Olive cheek sending her to the floor. Rosalinda screamed and ran to the woman. The workers from the store heard the commotion and began asking questions.
Rosalinda brought Olive close to her and prayed to God that everyone around them reminded safe.
A metal click of a gun made the whole room freeze. Rosalinda's body was wrecked with sobs not being able to control them anymore. Her only solstice was holding Olive tight against her body. She too cried while cupping her injured cheek.
"I'm going to leave," Jamie yanked the tracing material off his chest and back. "One person moves you all die."
He turned to Rosalinda. She shook her head as she moved away as Jamie tried to reach for her.
Letting out a tired sigh he cocked the gun back and pulled Olive from her arms. Rosalinda wailed as the terrified redhead shook where she stood. Lifting the gun to Olive's head Rosalinda covered her mouth to stop from making any more noise.
"Let's go. Now." He stated.
Rosalinda stood in wobbly legs and followed Jamie to the car. He shoved Olive in the back and she was forced to do the same.
Olive and Rosalinda held each other as Jamie drove.
Olive turned to her giving her a small smile of reassurance. Her right check was red and swollen; Rosalinda felt for her friend, she was hit way too many times.
Rosalinda pulled her in. "I'm so happy you're alright. I missed you."
Inside, she hated herself for putting Olive in this horrible situation. Olive had nothing to do with that was occurring between Leon and Jamie.
Glancing up she met his gaze through the mirror.
"She has nothing to do with what's going on Jamie. Let her go."
Jamie jerked the car to a stop. Her shoulder collided with the back of his chair; if it weren't for Olive she would have sunk to the floor.
The metallic click of gun alerted her. Rosalinda corrected herself and moved so the barrel pointed to the center of her chest. Olive's hands gripped her shoulders whimpering in fear.
"Let her go, you have enough on your plate with me. I'm your collateral, hurt me and you lose everything." Rosalinda was shocked when the uncensored words escaped her lips. She always used careful words around him avoiding all possible triggers. But she was tired of it all, she wanted to go home damn it!
It was her turn to narrow her eyes. "Unlock the car and let her leave. Now."
With the gun still aimed at her he reached behind and unlocked the door.
Olive shook her head as Rosalinda pushed her out the passenger side.
Rosalinda sat back when the door closed.
Jamie tossed the gun to the side and cursed. "You better pray my attitude changes before we reach the air strip."
Her eyes widened. "Air strip?"

Leon reached the mall and jumped out the car not bothering to turn it off. With the folder in his hand he flicked the plastic to the side and walked in.
Anguish ripped into him when he saw a burner phone and laptop side by side.
William and Rey followed along with a mesh of police cruisers.
Leon walked to the computer and was ready to smash it into bits when Rey stopped him.
"That might be evidence," he swiped it from the floor and began skimming through. William moved closer as he wiped tears from his face. "We're going to get her back one way or another."
He wanted to believe in his younger brother's words he really did. But due to his own luck and need to make an enemy out of everyone around him, he couldn't hold on to those words.
Slowly he was sinking into that nasty black hole he promised himself he wouldn't do. It was useless, he wasn't going to get anywhere legally. He needed isolation and firepower.
Jamie was too much of a slick bastard, who knows where he was taking her now. For he knew he could be in another damn country.
Leon hissed as he kicked the dirt.
"We got a call about a male and two females. The male had them at gunpoint along with everyone else in the store." An officer announced.
"The descriptions matched Ms. Canto." Leon's heart was lodged in his throat.
The officer placed his hands up to quell the noises coming from all three of them. "She's fine, but we lost her location. We're tracking her now but nothing so far. We have no questions-"
Leon paced. No more fucking question; one more answered question and he was going to end up in jail for punching a civil servant.
Think. Think. Where could she be taken.
"Let's all go home she's bound to appear sometime soon." Carla insisted as she clung to Antoni.
Growling he walked back to his car. Punching the steering wheel his knuckles ached in protest.
His phone began to ring. Annoyed he glanced at it seeing his assistance name.
"What's wrong Olive?"
There was a sound of heavy breathing and crying. "He tried killing me! She saved me, sir Jamie is with Rosalinda. He has a gun sir."
Leon gripped the phone to his ear. His blood ran cold. "Listen, where are you?"
"Um near the highway close to an old air strip, I called the police already. I just needed to tell you sir. She's in danger." She began to cry.
Olive was near an air strip. What the hell was Jamie doing?
He glanced down at the folder. South America in bold letters were peaking from the side.
South America! He never planned on giving Rosalinda back!
Bucking his seat belt Leon gripped the wheel and for once he felt as is the universe had chucked him a nice juicy steak bone.
"You're safe Olive, get home and stay home for as long as you need." Hanging up the phone Leon could feel a laugh threatening to come out.
The passenger side door swung open. Rey slipped inside with William.
"South America-"
"I know. He's carrying a gun." Leon admitted. "It's going to get bloody. Are you ready for that?"
Leon didn't care, he was going to arm up too. To get Rosalinda back he didn't care if he had to buy out the whole National Guard, he's willing to do anything to get her back.*
