You and Mattew are on summer vacation and school had just ended. You were hanging out at your hosue and texting your best friend Matthew Espinosa.

( "the place" was a secret little fort the 2 of you built when you were kids and you guys still use it to this day)
Y/n) oh without me? i feel it :(
Matt) i was just about to ask if yu can come over cus i have some stuff to tell u
Y/n) be there in a few :)
With that said you threw your phone onto your bed and ran to the bathroom to take a quick shower. You straighten your hair and scan through your closet to find some cloths.
You threw on a sunflower crop top and pair it with a pair of light washed shorts from Hollister. You picked out your floral vans the Matt got you for christmas. Just to go the extra mile, you carefully place a flower crown over your head.
For make up you applied some light mascara and a tad pit of peach lip gloss. You grabbed your phone off your bed and texted Matt telling him that you were on your way. You grabbed you keys off the rack hanging by the front door.
Your parents were at work and they wouldn't be back home until mid evening. So you just wrote a little saying where you were and everything. you pinned the note onto the billboard in the hallway.
As you openned the door, Matt was already standing at the front porch. "Hey y/n you look beautiful." He says as he greets you with a hug. "Whats up? i thought that i was just going to meet you at the place." you said as you hugged him back and turned around to close and lock the front door.
"Well yeah but i just thought about it and i didn't want you walking by yourself." Matt explains as you both began to walk to the place. On the way there you guys saw an ice cream truck and decided to buy some ice cream.
By the time you guys got the place, Matt had already finished his ice cream. He slyly put his arm around your sholder and layed his head on your other sholder. "you know what wud be funny?" he asks you. You gave him a questioning look. He quickly takes a bite from your ice cream and looks at you. "That." He laughs as he lays his head back onto your sholder.
You let out a little giggle as well. " You know what else would be funny?" you say. But before he can respond you scrape a little piece of ice cream onto his nose. You smile and him and run toward the tree house.
Before you can start climbing up the tree, Matt wraps his arms around you and pulls you downmaking you land on top of him and dropping your ice cream. "You owe me." you say.
Matt leans in closing the gap between you two.
