Chapter 1 - The Forgotten Twins

Sakura had no idea she would fall pregnant a year after Sarada was born, let alone expect twins. Her stomach doubled in size, and she noticed the baby kicking more than usual. She was getting regular check-ups at the Konoha hospital, so she decided to go in the case of an emergency. Her husband Sasuke couldn't be contacted since he was usually away from the Hidden Leaf Village, and she wasn't sure of his whereabouts. When he returns to the village, she would most likely inform him.

She arrived at the Konoha hospital and went slowly, practically hobbling, towards the door. A nurse noticed her, "Um, miss, do you require assistance?" She asked. The nurse lent her shoulder to lean on and helped her into a wheelchair. "I'll take the cradle," she offered, calmly lifting the cradle that housed her sleeping daughter Sarada.

"Thank you," Sakura mouthed with a smile.

The nurse quickly pushed the wheelchair as Sakura winced in pain. "Don't worry, we're almost there," she assured her. "Please arrange for a delivery," she informed them. The others nodded in agreement.

Sakura was brought into a room with a few nurses and a doctor standing to the side. "It's time to push," the doctor remarked. She lay on the bed, her legs held by two nurses on either side of her.

"Ahhhhh!" Sakura sobbed. She felt as if the agony would never end.

"Take a deep breath and keep pushing," the doctor instructed.

Sakura's face had turned pale from exhaustion after almost an hour of struggling to force the babies out. She felt a gush of water and blood as the first baby exited her body. The achievement made her feel delighted, but she had no strength to celebrate. The other twin... She gripped the nurse's hand and pushed the next baby out as well.

"Congratulations, you have given birth to two lovely girls," the nurse exclaimed joyfully.

The nurse showed Sakura her daughters. She smiled sweetly as she held both of them. One of the babies started to cry. "It's okay, don't cry," she whispered, comforting the child by patting her lightly.

"What will you name her?" The doctor asked.

"I'll name her Inoara. One day she will become a powerful Shinobi just like her father," Sakura replied. She looked at the twin that had grasped her finger with her tiny hand. The other twin seemed to be awake but very quiet, she was probably taking in her new surroundings, "And I'll name her, Tsuki. She's so peaceful and calm like the moon," she added. "Inoara Uchiha and Tsuki Uchiha."

The doctor took the babies to clean them up so Sakura could get some rest. After working so hard, she ran out of all her energy and fainted. The nurses carefully stitched her cervix as some checked her pulse and blood pressure.

Momoshiki waited for a long time, far too long, and now was the right time. It was nine months ago that he felt a very powerful energy surge from his planet. He had found it then, only to discover that it was a baby in a mother's womb. He couldn't kill the child at that time because he needed it and if he killed the mother, the baby would still die. His wish for eternal youth and a massive amount of chakra would finally be granted. But how will I take the baby without causing a ruckus among those humans? It's not that he can't defeat them because it was very easy for him. He just wanted to use the newborn's immense power as soon as possible. With no distractions or obstacles getting in the way.

Katasuke, a member of the Scientific Ninja Weapons Team, recently developed something new, "I conducted many experiments to get to this specific substance," he announced to the other scientists as he held up a medium-sized cork bottle.

Yesterday, he performed a failed experiment that was one of the many trials and errors he had to face before coming to his conclusion. The experiment consisted of ammonium reacting with dichromate to produce chromium(III) oxide, nitrogen gas, and water. He added chakra afterward, but it turned into something that resembled jelly. It was a fun experiment but it didn't exactly get him anywhere. He felt as if he would never be successful with these experiments until he tried one more time.
