Chapter 5 ( four months later)

August POV

Everything came out okay with the baby, Desiree is now 8 months pregnant now we're well should I say I'm getting ready for the baby shower because its a surprise baby shower my mom chipped in and help with the baby shower the colors are pink and teal I also helped too, my outfit that I had on was

* teal jacket w/ teal handkerchief

* white dress shirt

* white dress pants with a teal belt

* teal dress shoes

fly I know but I'm about to leave for the baby shower I'd did hygiene already this morning anyways I drove to regency reception hall where everybody was

Desiree's POV

I woke up and did my morning hygiene routine looked for august and he was nowhere to be found so I went back into the room and looked over to the dresser and saw a note I picked it up and read ‛get dressed today is your special day' I went into the walk-in closet and seen a sundress picked out for me it and pink and teal in it I put the dress on and pulled my hair down from the bun I had in which made it curly and put the sandals that were with the outfit walked out the closet grabbed my phone and seen I had a text from August which read ‘go outside and get into the white Limo " I did as the text said

I was in the car so long my butt started hurting then the car stopped the door opened, the limo driver helped me out I walked through the doors

“right this way Mrs. Alsina " I followed the lady to some doors when the doors opened I seen decorations everywhere and they were pretty

“ SURPRISE!!!"

“OMG" I started crying damn these pregnancy hormones August momma came and hugged me

“ stop crying before you mess up your make up girl"

“ I can't help it" august walked over to me, placed his hands on my belly and then kissed me

“ you like baby"

“ you knew about this" I said hitting him

“ yea I planned it" I let him slide we walked over to our table and set down the host was his mom, we played different baby games it was fun just then I started having sharp pains in my stomach august looked over

“ you good

“ no"

“ what's wrong"

“ I think I'm having contractions"

“ breathe in slowly" I did as I was told it helped ease away the pain

“ it's time to open up the gifts" we got up and moved the chairs in front of the tables set down and opened the gifts

“ damn who brought this big bag with headbands and outfits to go with the headbands" everybody laughed

“ you know I did" Bridgette went all out for my baby

“ thank you boo she's gonna look cute with this on" I opened another gift and it was from august family they bought her two different bouncy seats, little bath tub, little kit for her nails I had a lot of gifts to open she's gonna be spoiled

I stood up “ thank you everybody for coming out to celebrate with me and august"

“ yeah thank you guys, thank you momma for putting together, Desiree I want to ask you a question" he got down on one knee and pulled out a red box

“ Desiree I know we have been through a lot the past few months, now you're about to have my daughter what I'm really saying is will you marry me?"

“ yes August Anthony Alsina I will marry you" everybody applaud and he put the ring on my finger I'm super happy now I'm engaged to the man of my dreams and I'm about to have our little princess in five weeks

August POV

y'all probably thinking are you ready to be to tied down? and the answer is fuxk I am plus that's not the only thing I'm ready for I'm ready to he a father,  we ate, while she was eating I started packing up all the gifts into the trunk of my car and the back seat

“ momma you coming to the house"

“ yeah, why"

“ I don't have room in my car anymore

“ well put the rest in my truck"

“ thank you ma" I put the rest of the gifts in her truck the went back in seen everybody had cleaned up so I helped Desiree to the car my wifey was tired so I drove her home safely
