Light's p.o.v

I smiled as I walked down the the street with my sisters. "What are you so happy about?" Tokuko{OC}asked chuckling. "I just got my pay check." I said smirking at my older sister. "So you got so spare cash what's so great about that?" Sayu asked holding her head up high as we walked. "So that means I have enough money to take a special someone to Amusement Park tomorrow." I said as we entered moms house. "So you haven't forgotten my birthday after all Light but you do know my hips are bad." Mom said coming to greet us as we walked inside the house. "Actually mom we're taking you out for dinner on Sunday. I'm talking about a date that is if they agree." I said grabbing an apple. "Oh who is it?" Sayu asked. "I bet it's his 'friend' Leon~." Tokuko said. I instantly knew she was referring to L. "Is not Tokuko!" I said blushing. "Then why are you blushing?" She asked smirking at me as she gave Sayu a high-five. "Whatever I bet you're waiting for Teru to ask you on a date." I said crossing my arms and smirking. Tokuko blushed bright red and diverted her eyes. "Well...you...uh...YOU USED TO PEE IN YOUR PANTS IN 4TH GRADE!" Tokuko blurted out randomly. "YEAH WELL YOU USED TO DRINK HONEY MUSTERED IN 6TH GRADE!" I shouted at her as we glared at each other and got into a fist fight. "You two fight like your still in elementary!" Mom raising her voice as us. We stopped yelling and fighting each other and fixed our suits. After having dinner with mom Tokuko and me left mom's place. "You know he'll find out it was you that killed him right?" She said looking at me sadly. "I know and it's killing me." I said looking down. "Just please don't hurt him like that. The worse kind of pain is to learn that your lover is trying to kill you." She said. As we were walking we passed the house Watari got L to stay in. "Well we are passing by." She said. I blushed and started to walk away but Tokuko pushed me up to the door, ran behind a dumpster, and gave me a thumbs up. "Oh wait!" She said and ran up and handed me some roses she found on the neighbors doorstep and hid again. I took off the tag and almost pressed the doorbell but I stood at the door step not moving an inch with my finger inches away from the doorbell."So you have enough guts to try to become God of the new world but you don't have enough guts to ask out L!" Tokuko whisper-yelled. I glared at her before I rang the doorbell repeating "I can do this." as I waited. "I'm coming." I heard a sleepy voice call from the house. "I CAN'T do this." I said and went to leave but the door opened before I step on the middle step. "Light what are you doing here?" I turned around sheepishly. "H-Hey L.....uh....these are for." I said shakily as I handed him the roses. "Um thanks." He said accepting the roses. "I um....I was...would you...um." I took a deep breathe and relaxed. "I was wondering would you like to go to the amusement park with me tomorrow?" I asked blushing. I saw L blush really hard and I laughed mentally at how cute he was. "I would like that. How about you pick me up at 5 tomorrow?" He said. "It's date." I said making us both laugh a little. "I'll see you tomorrow. Oh and Light..." I jumped a little when he hugged me tightly. "Bye." He said and closed the door. I looked back to see Tokuko fliming me with her phone. "WAIT YOU WERE RECORDING!" I yelled. "BLACK MAIL BITCH!" She yelled and took off with me chasing her.

Time Skip

I rang the doorbell as I stood at L's doorstep with a bouquet of lilies and daisy. Tokuko, Sayu, and mom's idea. I was wearing a blue plaid shirt with a black T-shirt underneath, blue jeans, black converses, and a black toboggan. "Hey Light!" L said cheerfully as he opened the door. I blushed at how cute he looked wearing a light-grey sweater that hung off his shoulder, black yoga pants, and black converses. "Hey L." I said smiling and handing him the flowers. "Come in." He said inviting me in. I walked in an sat at the kitchen table as L put the flowers in a vase. "So are you ready?" He asked grabbing a black backpack. "Yeah but why do you need that backpack?" I asked. "I wanted to bring snacks and soda's." He said. "They won't let you bring it in there. Besides I'm gonna buy use dinner." I said getting up. "Oh." L said placing the backpack down with a sad look on his face. "Don't worry I'll get you some candy. I made sure to get us gold passes so that we could go as many times as we want for free that is if you want to keep going with me." I said blushing. He nodded and we rode there on my bike. We showed our passes and walked in the gates. "LIGHT!" We turned around to see Tokuko, Teru, Mello, Matt, Near, Nia, Misa, Manzo, Corey, Chloe, Cas, and Cole. "Tokuko...." I growled out. "What are the chances of us running into you two while your on your date." Tokuko said playing dumb. "And what are the chances of us running into your dates?" I said chuckling at them blushing. "We tagged along because we had nothing else to do!" Chloe and Corey said in unison with Cas and Cole. "Whatever let's just get on a ride L." I said taking L's hand. We walked with them until we came upon the 'Osore-sha' roller coaster. "Let's go on this one!" Nia said yanking Near's sleeve. "You wanna go?" I asked L. He looked scare but he took a deep breathe and put on a confident face. "Yes." He said and I nodded. We got on beside Teru and Tokuko. L's bravery turned to fear right before we hit the top and he held my hand tightly. "On second thought maybe this was a bad ideaaaaaaahhhhh!" L screamed as we went over the edge. "I don't want to die a-" I interrupted him by pressing my right hand on the back of his head and pressing our lips together in a heated kiss. We can't let anybody know that we aren't exactly human and I really wanted to kiss him. We parted ways right before the ride ended and gazed into each others eyes. "That was so fun! Let's do it again Teru!" Tokuko said when we got off. "Let's get our pictures!" Chloe said running into the gift shop, where you have to go through it to exit the ride. "Aw that's so cute." I heard a girl say. L and I looked up to see our picture on one of the eight screens when we entered. It was pretty romantic to be perfectly honest the only thing that ruined it was Teru trying to hold in his lunch and Tokuko with her hand on her hip and giving a one finger salute. "Well that's not embarrassing at all." Mello said as Teru dashed to the bathrooms with Tokuko taking off after him. We got our pictures and left with the rest of the group and headed to different rides and games. "Matt why don't you try this game instead of this one." Mello said pushing him to a ball game and taking away his ds. "Hey I was playing mario cart!" Matt complained but stop when Mello sent him a glare. Matt got a ball and threw it at the easy jugs you had to knock down. He knocked down all of them and got Mello a brown teddy bear. "Light why don't you try." Corey said smirking. I got a ball and threw it at the hard jugs, which was like nine jugs for a large stuffed animal, and knocked them all down. I picked out a turquoise teddy bear with a golden heart shaped bow tie and gave it to L. "Thanks." He said blushing and snuggled into the bears soft fur that smelled of cotton candy. We went on a few more rides and then we decided to eat dinner. We got some burgers, hot dogs, pizza, etc and a bunch of chocolate desserts. "Damn I don't think I can go one any rides for awhile." Teru said making Tokuko pat his back. We finished and set out for a couple slow rides before we called it a night. After riding the sky swings and the ferris-wheel we all wanted to ride carousel. Well actually Nia, Corey, Chloe, Misa, Tina, Tokuko, Mello, L wanted to ride. So we hoped on and there was no space for me to sit so I just stood holding on to the pole that went through L's horse. "I had fun tonight." I said to him. "I did too." He replied back. "Um...about that kiss earlier-" "I liked it Light." He whispered and blushed. "Would you like it again?" I asked. "Huh-" I grabbed his hand and pressed our lips together to share a deep sweet and gentle kiss. "I love you L." I whispered when we separated. "I love you too Light Yagami." L said smiling. From that moment on we turned each others worlds upside down.

"Aw that was super sweet!" Lexi said as she wrote down the last bit of my story down. "So that was all you needed? Just a story on how me and your mom started dating?" I asked her. Lexi's teacher 5th grade assigned the class to write a essay about how their parents met and started dating for valentines day so she asked me about it. "But how did you two meet?" Lexi asked. "We met on the Kira case. He thought I was a suspect but it turned out to be someone else." I lied. 'She'll learn eventually but she doesn't need to know now.' I thought to myself as I smiled at my daughter while she wrote it down. "Thanks daddy!" She said and hugged me. "Your welcome." I said and she left to go up to her room.

Happy valentines day guys! I hope you guys enjoyed this story. I will be editing 'The Daily Life of Lexi Yagami' in awhile so I'm going add characters and take away some.
