*******************************************

After the library scene, Kongpob went straight for his room. But arriving there, he felt suffocated. He was feeling so low about himself. He took a shower and looked for something to do. But nothing could retain his attention for long. Giving out a frustrated sigh, he went to buy something to drink. He placed an order of his usual iced coffee on the paper at the stall. But then he changed his mind to pink milk. This would help him in missing his mate a bit less. He wrote it on the paper and was again lost in his depressive thoughts, his head lowered.

In the meantime, his mate was coming to that stall to get his usual pink milk for dinner. He had already known that Kongpob was there.
Why was he still going to that stall though? He was supposed to ignore him completely. But then, his legs were making him go there to his mate. Why were his instincts forcing him to go to Kongpob? They were not even bonded. He could see the way Kongpob was standing there looking defeated and lost in thoughts. He was not even aware that Arhit came to stand next to him at the stall to place his order. And Arhit could finally examine his mate at his leisure. He had dark circles under his eyes. As I have right now, he thought. The reminders of their night together were still on his neck. But they were fading. For an unknown reason, Arhit felt very sad when that thought came to his mind. The memories about that night are rapidly getting away, he thought. And he was supposed to be happy about this. Then why was there a pain in his heart?
Why could he not bear seeing his mate like this? He nearly reached to touch his mate but then the girl at stall said loudly: "Pink milk order is ready."
When both mates heard that, they both reached to get the drink. Arhit reached the drink first making Kongpob's hand touch his hand instead of the drink. Arhit was so startled by the touch that he removed his hand instantly as if like scalded. When Kongpob realised who was standing next to him and how his mate was even refusing to touch him now, he could not bear any longer and moved away leaving both his mate and the drink at the stall.

When the girl saw Kongpob going, she tried to stop him as it was his order that was prepared first. She hastily explained to Arhit that Kongpob ordered before him and in fact, that pink milk was his. Arhit's pink milk was still being prepared. When Arhit listened to the girl's explanation, he took the drink and went after Kongpob to give him his milk.

However, he felt someone come in front of him abruptly. Beam was standing there all red with anger. He glared at Arhit and said: "Pardon my intrusion and my disrespect to you P'Arhit, but may I know where you are going? After your mate? For what purpose? You already rejected him once that night. Now, I just saw how you rejected his touch. Then why are you going after him? To hurt him some more? You are hurting him more with your mixed signals P'Arhit. You have to choose. Either you reject him completely or you go after him. You can't swing both sides, please."

Arhit glared at him back: "I just wanted to give him his drink that he left at the stall." Beam just stared at him for a few seconds. It was obvious that it was not just to give his mate the drink that he was going after his mate. Beam sighed and said: "Give me the drink then. No need to disturb you any longer. I can give him the drink."
Arhit gave Beam the drink. Beam nodded and murmured at him: "Thank you." And he went after Kongpob.
Arhit watched him go, his shoulders slightly slumped. He so wanted to retort to Beam but was Beam not right? I need to stay away from Kongpob, he kept trying to convince himself. But it was not that easy. Not when his mate whose favourite drink was iced coffee was ordering pilk milk. Not when he looked so dejected. But Beam was right. He had to take a firm decision and stand by it whatever happened.

And obviously the decision that Arhit decided to maintain was his previous one; to stay away from his mate.

Meanwhile Beam was walking towards Kongpob with  the drink. Beam recalled how he saw the drink scene. He had been coming from the library after having the nicest Valentine gift form his mate when he remembered that he left Kongpob there. He called him right away but Kongpob did not answer. Worried, he looked for him and finally came across the stall scene. Beam saw Arhit who was about to touch his mate's shoulder as if to console him. But then, just after that he saw Arhit reject his mate's touch. Beam rolled his eyes, angry on his best friend's behalf. Enough is enough. He went to intercept Arhit and stopped him from meeting Kongpob and asked him to think about the decision he had to take. Beam had said that hoping that Arhit finally saw how much they were both hurting and decided to be with his mate.
